Am I reading the website correctly? Are they nominating each of those five films for every possible category they’re allowed to compete in?

However, it’s funny that you can only download the screenplay for Ratatouille, not for the other four movies.
Big studios always try to submit more than one picture in every plausible category. How many dollars they spend on a “for your consideration” campaign it’s another story. The strongest contender in Disney 's line-up is Ratatouille. In a trade ad I saw they are promoting our beloved rat in these categories:
Best Picture
Best Director
Best Original Screenplay
Best Animated Picture
Best Score
Best Editing
Best Song
Best Sound
Best Sound Editing
Best Art Direction
Half of these are very likely to materialize But with the Academy you really can’t take anything for granted.
thank you for the link! I don’t think it will be hard to catch the Best Writing nomination, because of the few original scripts.
the hard noms will be Direction and Art Direction, the other ones are very probable…
If this movie is really special, i hope it will reach five or six nominations, it would be a record, and i would be happy 
Last years “for your consideration” sites were more flashy. I hope that near the Osars they update teh site so that they look like last yeras with actual scenes from the movie.
Anywyas the script is great, I want to print it out os bad, but it has so many pages I dont think tahst gonna happen!

Wow you can actually download an official copy of the Ratatouille screenplay. This is incredible!
Anyway, I am pretty sure that Ratatouille will get an Original Screenplay nomination. Pixar films are the only animated films to have gotten an original screenplay nomination, from Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles, and this one is no different. It’s the closest that Pixar will ever get to Best Picture, although I do think Best Picture is worth a shot.
