I hate my two rat plushies because if the batteries die I can’t replace them. I’ll have to play operation or they’ll die and get corroded and disgusting … not that corrosion matters because it’s inside the toy anyway … but still, battery life is short, especially if you’re behaving like a child and smacking the toy around.
I’ll know when it’s dying because it’ll have a slow, deep masculine voice. xD
Those are the ones. I actually got a pretty good deal for them, since a good acquaintance of mine who used to work at the local Disney Storey I attend gave me two badges “free” of ticket stub “charge”. (This was before I worked at the Disney Store.)
Woah! That Monsters, Inc. thiing-a-ma-jig is awesome! You’re right, dude: I wish they did have something like that, only in a Ratatouille format, but alas!..Disney has become rather cheap lately… (snigger)
LeBatEnRouge - I wantss it!!
Heheh. Thanks for the pictures!
Annoying - Haha! I wish your sisters well in getting a hold of it…
FONY - I hate it when that happens. Why the heck do they put nonreplaceable batteries in 'em anyway? It’s highway robbery, man. (snigger)
Well, this isn’t exactly a Ratatouille DVD pin from a Disney store, but it’s better than nothing…
I think that this pin was given away when people pre-ordered the Ratatouille DVD at certain non-Disney stores in the US. Also, I have a feeling that either the Disney Stores will start selling a DVD pin, or at Disneyland/Disneyworld, but I’ll keep an eye out on eBay and pin collecting sites and let you know if they are.
rachel - Cute pin. Thanks for the picture! I’ll keep an eye out for it…
LeBatEnRouge - I’ve seen that one around “town”, as well. The only reason I haven’t bought it yet is because Remy looks kinda…weird to me, like he’s missing some teeth or something.
Oh, that’s not my pin, guys. Just a picture from eBay. I do want it, though. Yeah, I was going to get that pin as well, except Remy does look a bit weird with his missing tooth. Heh.
rachel - Oooh, I see. Heheh. Well, we should all bail out our money and purchase a pin one of these days. They’re not that expensive; it’s just finding a decent one that makes the whole ordeal problematic. (snigger)
Mitch - Yeah, I agree. Some Ratatouille pins look downright tacky, and others are just awful and do the characters no justice. I’m sure you’ve seen them around.
Speaking of pins, here is a “Disney-Pixar Mystery Christmas tin set” where you get four random pins out of the assortment. Some pins are rarer than others. Remy looks really cute with his candy cane.
martini833 - Woah. Hey, yeah, you’re right! I suppose that they couldn’t figure out how to combine both fish and Christmas into one package (actually, they could’ve, but the kids wouldn’t wear it…). I’m glad that A Bug’s Life got the spotlight for once. That Flik pin is really cute!
