Mitch - Well, since it is a promo item, I’m guessing that it wasn’t for sale. But I’m not exactly sure how these promo things work. Heh. And this El Capitan Disney Store you speak of… I need to go there.
rachel - Ah, I see. Well, I suppose that I didn’t see it at the Disney Store near the El Capitan… or in the Backlot… or on Ebay. Oh well…
And, yes, you must visit the Disney Store next to the El Capitan cinema, as it is awesome. They had more Ratatouille merchandise then you could shake a stick at when the film itself was first released, some of which were exclusives (I think).
I absolutely love that shop floor sticker in the top middle section of the photograph, not to mention… those bouncy balls and that mealtime set are quite charming, as well.
Mitch - Well, I’ve still got another batch of Ratatouille merchandise to post here, as well.
Yeah, the floor stickers are awesome. The one where Remy is looking up is adorable, and the kitchen window one (with Remy and Gusteau) is just plain clever. Good job, Disney marketing!
Pogs are little round disc things that you collect and stack them in a pile and slam down a harder, heavier Pog on top of it. There are rules involved with the game, but I forget them. They used to be big in the '90s. Heh. Down here, we called them “Tazos.”
rachel - Yeah, at least Disney is good at something. When it comes to marketing and advertising they do brilliant.
Ah, I see! How interseting. I don’t think I’d ever heard of “pogs” before until now, and if I did I’d previously forgotten about them. Thanks for the explaination!
As far as the pictures go, well, I look forward to them.
– Mitch
P.S. By the way, I Iove your new signature. (heheh)
The French Ratatouille pins are adorable, as is the toothbrush. (I was actually unsure as to whether or not a Ratatouille-themed toothbrush had been created, but I shall ponder no more now.) As for the bandages, I’ve seen those before in a local supermarket near my house – Ralphs, to be exact.
Blast it! Ah, well. Taking into account my short stature, I’d probably fit into it nonetheless. (laughs)
Ha-ha. Indeed! I’m thinking of purchasing those band-aids the next time I go to shop at Ralph’s with my mom.
That reminds me… I still have yet to post up a photograph (or photographs) displaying my entire collection of Ratatouille-related merchandise. I await the day I purchase and/or receive a quality digital camera so as to shoot decent images for once. (heh)
I can’t wait to see the next batch of pictures, rachel!
Trust me, when I get my paws on a digital camera I am going to go bananas with it. My mom said that I could ask my dad if I can borrow his digital “snapper” for the time being, but I’d rather not waste his film. Henceforth, I’ll just await the day when I receive my own “copy”. Heh.
Actually, there will be a contest of some sort that will be held at the El Capitan Theater, in Hollywood, upon the theatrical release of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. The winner shall receive a free digital camera. prays
