You know, I have a feeling that if we combined both of our Ratatouille collections together, the only person who would be able to rival it would be John Lasseter himself! In any case, I hope you get hold of a digital camera soon so I can see all your stuff. I’m really excited to see it all.
I’ll take a photo of my collection in a couple of months when I have added a last few pieces that I’ve had my eye on. Internal dialogue: “Just one more Ratatouille thing, I swear!”
Thank you! I’ll do my best to acquire a digital camera for free via that upcoming contest, and if I don’t then, well, I suppose I’ll have to dig in my pockets for loose change sooner or later. (snigger)
Heheh. Yeah, I actually browse around the international versions of the ebay sites - the listings there don’t turn up when I would search the English-version sites, so it’s a good thing I did. The clock comes from Germany, so here are twolistings with different versions of the clock. An online translator would come in handy to correspond with the seller, though. I don’t really like the picture chosen with Remy and Linguini, but it seems pretty legit (as in, not a bootleg), as far as I can tell from the design of the box. Hope that helps.
For the sake of my computer desktop and the fact that WALL•E is being released soon, here’s the final batch of random Ratatouille merchandise that I’m going to post here. Enjoy!
I went to the Disney store out in western Mass, and aside from a couple of plush Emiles, there wasn’t a single Ratatouille item there. I know the film wasn’t the merchandising Goliath that Cars was, but still, I was a bit surprised. If I didn’t already have Emile, totally would have bought him though, and I’m happy I got Remy when I could.
