The pool that the employee was pushed into was actually the Pixar company pool on the campus.
The things they do for the sake of their movies… ![]()
Haha, yes. Learn to cook, venture to reefs, live with rats…all too cool. ![]()
Well, that only goes to show how far Pixar is willing to go to make sure that the audience not only enjoys watching the movie, but also hoping that the audience gets that feeling that they are right there in the movie with all of the characters.
Yeah, that’s the name of it! Thank you for posting it up. ![]()
The Star Swordsman - My thoughts exactly. The geniouses at Pixar Animation Studios care enough about their audiences and their films to the point that they find time to delve into certain subjects and do various things such as this. It’s awesome… ![]()

You can say that again Mitch. Infact, they even went to France just to get that eperience and feeling.
Dining in expensive French restaurants, sightseeing, experiencing French culture - Oh, what torture that would have been. ![]()
rachel - Puh-hahah! Yeah, they had to fly all the way over there and find a hotel room and everything – such a hassle…

Actually, Brad Bird (at least, I believe that it was Brad Bird) did mention that he was getting rather stuffed after eating all of that delicious French food. I suppose that that counts as an inconvenience… (snigger)

Rachel, if I am not mistaken, the trip to France is one of the TV spots I saw before the movie was released. Did anyone else remember it?
I remember watching something like that ages ago, though. But I watched it on the Internet, but maybe it was played on Disney Channel to promote the movie, I don’t know. It is called Parlez Vous Francais and it’s on YouTube. It’s really good - the motorcycle ride looks so fun.
Yeah, I saw that in one of the Ratatouille podcasts.
I know this isn’t a TV spot or anything, but I didn’t think it was necessary to start a new thread.
My internet is with AOL, and on the front news page of AOL today there was a link to a page with all sorts of Ratatouille stuff, including some nice wallpapers. Here’s the link- kids.aol.co.uk/music-tv-film/dis … atatouille
LG - That’s cool. ![]()
Has anybody seen a Ratatouille DVD tv spot yet?
No, I haven’t seen one yet, but I’ll start looking.
Not yet JV, but I’ll keep my eye open for it.
Okay, so this technically doesn’t count as a Ratatouille TV spot, (I didn’t want to start a new thread) I believe Patton Oswalt will be on an episode of “Reaper” Tuesday,October 30, 9pm/8pm central on the CW. I love the show already, but hey, bonus.
I haven’t seen many other Ratatouille stuff lately, but maybe I haven’t been looking hard enough.
Wandering, well hang on to you horses, TV spots for the DVD shall come out really soon.
The Wandering - Interesting. I probably won’t watch it, but thanks for the information, in any case! ![]()
I was browsing YouTube for Ratatouille clips, when I came upon this:
youtube.com/watch?v=Y2FOeA4e1RY
It appears to be a Nissan commercial that features some computer animation of Remy and Emile at the end. I am rather fuzzy on what language is being spoken within the clip itself, but it’s interesting to watch nonetheless.

Mitch- Sounds very Italian.
Sorry if I’m wrong, though.
I can’t think of any other language besides Portuguese that could sound like that.
Mitch - That’s so cool! What the movie has to do with cars, I don’t know…
Remy sounds so funny - he’s got a deep voice. Heh. Their pronunciation of Ratatouille is different, too. It’s phonetically spelt “Ra-ta-tuj”, and pronounced Rat-a-too-yeh". Interesting…
Cool video Mitch. I really loved the random Ratatouille clip in the middle of it. Really nice.
Speaking of TV spots, while watching the world series, I saw a commercial of the Ratatouille DVD. It obviously showed clips of the movie, but it also displayed a couple seconds of the features on the DVD.
