Ratatouille tv spots

I just saw a new Ratatuille tv spot!

…Where!?!

ABC.

I’m annoyed

because I’m sick of seeing lots of advertisements for different movies or some stupid detergent or some garbage

like that, and I never see a Ratatouille commercial.

Maybe this attributes to the fact I don’t watch much

TV anymore …

But I hear it when I’m on the computer and if I hear something Ratatouille I’ll scramble

so much I’ll fall off my chair. xD

Yeah I annoyed when they have those all the time too. That sucks!

They’ve had a strange banner thing for Ratatouille up in our local cinema for months and months now, which

always seemed strange to me as they haven’t started showing the advertisements for Ratatouille on TV yet here. I

guess it’s a pretty good sign, though; posters and stuff always seems to go up about a month before a film’s

release, but for it to have been up way before Ratatouille is being released shows pretty high expectations for

the film.

This isn’t a tv spot but I didn’t know where to put it - they’re sorta celebrating Ratatouille’s release on photobucket. I screenshotted it. xD

FONY - I’ve seen that up on Photobucket, too. It’s pretty cool.

Thanks for the pictures, FONY!

cool pictures FONY

Every once in a great while, the Disney Channel will air a two minute clip of Ratatouille – it is a clip that includes these two scenes:

[spoil]Scene 1 - When Skinner catches Linguini talking to Remy in the food storage room.

Scene 2 - Half of the sequence where Remy learns how to “steer” Linguini around his (Linguini’s) apartment.[/spoil]

Usually, I will attempt to capture a scene or two from the clips. This evening, I happened to obtain a short video clip of Linguini and Remy in the kitchen bathroom (a scene which I am not sure whether or not should be displayed here, for obvious copyright reasons) and this picture:

It’s not the best in the world, but at least I got something! The quality of the image came out alot clearer than I thought it would, which makes me happy…as my camera phone is stupid and doesn’t often capture very high quality/resolution photos. (I have that particular image (above) displayed as the main desktop on my phone – heheh.)

Moderators: If you’re there, I have a question to ask of you:

Is it legal (in my case) to display scenes from the film, “Ratatouille”, that have not yet been seen?

95% of the clip in question has already been viewed by many internet browsers around the world, but it’s that other 5% that I’m worried about.

Your opinion(s)?

I just saw this TV spot about two hours ago how Ratatouille is a “smash hit”. The clips that followed were a bunch of smash, mash, crash, bump, squash, and clash clips from the movie. Funny, isn’t it?

ok - so I was at work today and finally realized what was bugging me about one of the “Incredible but Edible” tv spots. It’s the one for Stinkhead Surprise. My question is - how do you bury fish heads in the back yard for ANY length of time without some neighborhood cat digging it up and being off with your meal?!?!?!

Dash - I could you could always install a fence around the area where the fish is buried so that local, neighborhood critters won’t uncover a possible “dinner”, but I dunno. People never tell you these things; they make you figure them out for yourself. :stuck_out_tongue:

I did not want to start a new topic so I’ll just post this here.

Patton Oswalt on Jay Leno.

Wow! I went to the cinema today to see Harry Potter, and before the showing they showed what I thought was a Ratatouille trailer. Instead, it ended up being an appeal from Remy himself not to copy or use pirated DVDs! It was hilarious hearing Remy say “don’t be a knock-off Nigel!” They also showed some clips of the film that I hadn’t seen before, like [spoil]Emile not actually eating garbage,[/spoil] and they showed Remy watching a TV that was playing a pirated DVD of Ratatouille, with terrible quality. It was very cool.

lizardgirl - Oh, awesome! Man, I hope it gets on YouTube. Thanks for the heads up!!

Gasduude- I hope so too, though, in a way, that would be very ironic!

Hmmm, so this is the second time something “exclusive” has been shown at one of the Harry Potter movies…am I right?

Sounds cool, lizardgirl! You’re makin’ me want to watch it…

LOL - Glad I’m not the only one who caught and was amused by the irony of that statement!
