Ratatouille Video Game!

The Star Swordsman -

Contrary to popular belief, alot of the games I’ve played that are geared towards the “youngings” are

actually quite difficult. On some of the kiddy computer games that I own, there are

still some levels that I haven’t yet completed…and they’re supposed to be easy

enough for an 8 year old to beat! :stuck_out_tongue:

However, these PlayStation/THQ games are pretty easy enough. I

mainly want to get the thing to see if I can beat my record of winning a game in 2 hours strait. That and, of

course, Remy. (snigger) <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Love" />

The thing I am worried about is the general audience. The kids will probably love it. But then you got the other

crowd of people. THe Teens and the Adults. These are the people who might look down upon the game and give it a

bad review.

Mitch – Well, I don’t play too much in the way of Video Games,

so I’m not the best judge, but I’ll tell ya: The Incredibles Xbox game was not

easy!

The Star

Swordsman - Ahh…I don’t think the adults would even bother to play something as kid-friendly as

the Ratatouille game. But the teens? Well…I’m an “older” teen and I

still play kiddy games. But maybe I’m an exception… (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

Gasduude

 • Oh dude, I played that game on my PlayStation2 console and it was so stinkin’

hard! Took me a couple weeks to complete! :stuck_out_tongue:

I am saying most of the general Teenaged audience

are swaying more toward the rated T games. They might look down on this one.

Well, it looks fun, but some of the things looks really obvious. But still, it looks like a

fun game. T ake not i said fun, not challenging.

Woooaaaah – that is

so…cool!! I take it back: this game is gonna be hard. You need

charms to pass certain parts of various levels? I hate those things. And you can

blow up stuff with chili peppers? That’s just ingenious! And then you can use the “ratapault” to

launch yourself across particular areas… Well, that shouldn’t be too hard. It’s just like in the first

“Incredibles” game, actually…

Yeah, it’s like a combination of

The Incredibles, 102 Dalmations: Puppies to the Rescue,

and some other game that I have whose name escapes me…

Oh man, I wanna play this game

soooo bad! It looks like terrific fun! Thanks for the information,

JV!

Mitch,

seriously, ths games does not look that difficult. All it is is just a search, find, and go. What is hard about

that?

To me the game does not look difficult, but

harder then other Pixar games.

The Star Swordsman - You play it then and see how hard it is. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll give a report on it anyway, after I begin playing it. I’m with JV on

this in that the game doesn’t look extremely difficult, but a little bit harder than the other Pixar games.

I just saw a video of guys blowing through the game like the breeze. And you tell me it is

hard? Come on now!

Maybe they’ve played it for a good

amount of time and have figured out how to master it? (snigger)

I dunno. The maneuverability of the

characters looks incredibly fluid and simple, thank goodness, but the game itself has hidden surprises and

unexpected twists and turns (as every game usually does). Trust me, I’ve played so many video games that I know

a certain style when I see one. Of course, there’s always a first time… :stuck_out_tongue:

Trust

me. i am a VG expert in my family. Usually, if a game looks easy to one person, it is bound to be easy to the

whole general public.

And if a game looks hard to another

person than it’s just the opposite. (snigger)

So that makes two video game experts! Maybe a

certain game looks or seems hard to one person…but plays out easy for another? I dunno. I probably won’t have

any major problems in winning this game, but I do know that there will be challenges. The very fact that you need

to earn points (or the like) to get past a barrier connotates right there that one level will probably take

about…ohhh…half an hour to forty-five minutes to complete maybe?

Well, we’ll find out when we buy

the darn thing. (snigger)

I don’t know. To me, the game looks kinda childish and a

little lame for my age. I thnk I’ll play it at a game store before considering buying it. (which is probably a

no.)

Mitch - Yeah, I’ll be buying it or renting it the second it hits shelves.

Here’s some new

Ratatouille VG screenshots!

Skinner is…scary. (snigger)

Looks like a great game, though! Thanks

for the link/pictures, JV!

well, the activities look really fun. And the characters look kinda convincing. I need to play

a demo first before I realy play it.

Here’s

the proof that the WALL- E teaser trailer will be on the VG! also there going be clips from the Ratatouille

movie, just like the Cars VG!
