Ratatouille Websites

Since there are only four months

away until Pixar’s latest film, Ratatouille, is set loose in theaters, I figured

that I may as well quit beating around the bush and post up some websites that have to do with the subject. Oddly

enough, I found a few good ones, including one that appears to reveal some new information about the

film…

Le Official Ratatouille Website -

This is the official website for the film, provided/hosted by Disney.

Pixar’s Ratatouille Page - The main page for

Ratatouille on Pixar Animation Studios’ official website.

Ratatouille Movie.net - A cute little, independent

Ratatouille site with old information on the story and characters. Coloring pages,

screencaps/pictures, and more are also available for exploration.

Ratatuee.com - Another website dedicated solely to the film.

Ratatouille-Movie 2 - Another website with the

same name as the previously mentioned “Ratatouille Movie” site, with details on the film.

Japanese “Ratatouille” Website – remy.jp - The

Disney Japanese website and official homepage for Ratatouille. Click on the poster

to view more information.

Ratatouille – Video Game - The

official website for the Ratatouille video game.

[u]And for the

grand finale…[/u]

Ratatouille-the-Movie - I

just recently found this website this morning, and I noticed something different about it from the other

Ratatouille websites.

First of all, on the

Characters page, there is a new picture of Linguini and of Django. Obviously, our

master-of-news JV knows about this, because his avatar hosts this same picture.

There is also a new photo of Django, who is said to be Remy’s father.
Secondly, on the same page, a new

character is listed…known by the name of “Anton Ego”. He sounds like the

protagonist in the film, as he is the food critic.
Also note that Emile is said to be voiced by Peter Sohn,

and that there are descriptions of each character next to their pictures.
I suggest you also go the

Games page on this website if you like to play shuffle and hangman.

Either

this guy has some really valuable information on the film, or he is making some pretty good guesses. Maybe he’s

a Pixar employee in disguise? (snigger)

And, of course, there is always my

Ratatouille blog if you would like to look at it:

The Tailed Reporter

If you

have any more information concerning Ratatouille-related websites and/or blogs,

please feel free to post them here!

Wow  Thanks Mitch

fo this last link. There’s a lot of new informations here. And it seems reliable.

First, Peter Sohn as

Emile ? Well, with Lou Romano, that makes two guys from Pixar voicing two major characters.

The name of

the food critic, Anton Ego, seems to tell a lot on his personnality. A short

animation of him can be seen in the ABC sneak peek.

Little spoilers now :
[spoil]An

interesting information about the whole "Ultimate food critic who downgraded from five stars to four Auguste

Gusteau before the world-famous chef died" thing : in France, there’s the [i]Michelin

Guide[/i], a restaurant guide, which awards the Michelin stars. The highest number of stars for this

guide is three. It’s very influent. And, some years ago, the most famous chef in

France, Bernard Loiseau, committed suicide after the Michelin Guide downgraded his

restaurant from three to two stars.

So, maybe this information inspired the writers of the movie - or

it’s just a coincidence.[/spoil]

Anyway, great news Mitch

No problem, Archibald! You are most welcome for

the news. And thank you for submitting some helpful information, as well!

That’s interesting concerning

the whole “upgrading/degrading” stars thing. That just might be where Pixar got their inspiration for a

moment in their film, like you said. It’s funny too, because I predicted the same thing:

[spoil]That Gusteau would suffer a “nervous breakdown” or something of the sort due

to a degrading in his restaurant rating.[/spoil]

Kinda spooky, yet uniquely interesting –

heheh.

Your right Mitch, I found out about the Ratatouille-the-Movie.com this morning but have been way to busy today

to post about it. I think it is the coolest Ratatouille site yet other then your Mitch.

JV - Aww – thanks, JV. And I’m glad you found the site this

morning, too!

One more thing I noticed about Remy via the newest site:

[spoil]Ha –

I was right: Remy is the eldest of his siblings![/spoil]

It updated!!! and

the HD trailer is up as well!

JV - Cha – I just saw it!

It’s absolutely awesome! My sister and I have gone through the whole thing

frame-by-frame at least five times now.

Here’s another Ratatouille site to add to the list

Micth: www.ratatouille-movie.net

BTW Mitch: You should post about all these Ratatouille sites on your

blog.

Thanks, JV! I added the link you provided to the list up above.

And

yeah, I should post them in my blog, huh? Thanks for mentioning it!

They just updated this site: ratatouillemovie.net/

JV - Wow – that’s much better. It looks alot “spiffier” now. Thanks for

the information, JV!

Ooh, yeah, it does look better!

I wonder who

runs this site? I mean, somehow it’s funny to think (at least to me) that not all Pixar fans are on

Pixar Planet…I don’t know.

Gasduude - I know there

are still tons of Pixar fans out there that are not on Pixar Planet, because I was one of those people last yeah

at this time.
I think Pixar Planet will start geting a lot of new Pixar fan on this site before to long,

because Ratatouille comes out in only 77 days.

JV – Yeah, I know: I was one too. I guess it just gets into your thinking…

Here is a Disney Japanese website

featuring their official homepage for Ratatouille:

disney.co.jp/movies/

You may recognize the poster as one that

JV posted up some time ago. To view more information about the film, just click on

the poster itself.

Kinda cute, actually.

I

love that poster! Linguini’s hair looks great! :sunglasses:

Pixar is truly for

everyone, no matter where you are!!!

Oh cool. Ratatouille is starting to go international now. Have they released a fench or a british site

yet?

TSS – I don’t think

so…remember for some places, Ratatouille comes out later in the year, so there in

a different phase of the marketing.

The Star Swordsman - Cha – I could. I’ll think about it. Heheh.

Update! The official Ratatouille

website has been updated. Two new games (a personality quiz and a matching game) have been submitted, as well as

all of the podcasts in the “Videos” section. Also, if you go to the “About the Film” section,

you can “Explore the Kitchen…” to discover a fun fact and two recipe cards (one for salad, and the

other for grilled cheese).

I took the personality test about twenty or more times, and almost every time

I came out as Colette. Makes perfect sense in some ways, but it kinda sucks in

others. For one thing, I can’t cook like her, and for another thing…I was kinda hoping to get Remy. Oh well.

The rest of the time I got Emile, and a couple of times I got Linguini as well. I’ve been trying like heck to

get Remy, but I just can’t get him up! :stuck_out_tongue:

Check out all the fun stuff

here:

Awesome! Thanks Mitch! *checks Ratatouille
