Ratatouille - What we know already

Well I thought a good post to start in Ratatouille would be what info we

already know i.e. Cast Members, Plot info, characters etc…

All I know is Patton Oswalt will play star Remy, and Brad Garrett will play the Chef. And I

pretty much now everything else according to the trailer which means not much.

BTW - Awesome Avatar.

Mesmering . . . .

EDIT - Oh shoot: It’s Luxo Jr. From Upcoming Pixar, isn’t it?

It’s me alright hehehe.

I should have known from the great Avy and the Brisbane and the UpcomingPixar

link!!

The sad part is I know you from Animated News but I still never made the

connection until just now! LOL headdesk :unamused:

Don’t beat yourself up too much. I actually saw his little post and said "oh he’s from Australia AND is

linking to UpcomingPIXAR, how odd!"

Then after I finished my post, I was “Oh shoot!!”

haha - yeah - but he uses the same name at AN and I

didn’t know who he was there til just now… nevermind the fact that I sent him the Press Release yesterday

LOL!

I was sitting here talking to PixarVixen going "hmm, I wonder where bawpcwpn got the link - I

haven’t posted it on AN - he must read Upcoming Pixar too." She’s just like "uhh… Dash… haven’t

you ever noticed what he lists as his homepage?" headdesk

lol! Don’t beat yourself up about it. Just like a superhero i sometimes like a certain

amount of anominity or however you spell it.

What a way to save yourself so that you won’t lost points!! (Wink Wink)

hehe - I better explain this points thing LOL

That’s just an expression that was started by a friend of mine from an old board named

“SpiderLee.” Several of the members here know him. Anytime he didn’t know how to spell something he

would do the best he could then use the (-Xpts sp) depending on how bad he thought he did. I liked it and

adopted it for myself. In this case I can see how it looked like I was reffering to you but I was really

referring to my own having no idea how to spell “pieve.” So no points off for you - just for me -

thankfully nobody’s tracking though because I really don’t spell as well as I should =P

Oi – I was just making fun of Luxo Jr./Bawp . . . I know

there are no Points!!

But thanks for the little history . . . I love little quirks like that. A friend of

mine at the 24-Archive would often blame that all the errors on the site were the result of the Anti-Archive . .

. even though there was no such thing. Just a funny running gag!!

That’s why when I was making fun of

Luxo Jr. I “winked.”

So no worries man – looks like it’s you who doesn’t get the joke.

Ironic, no?? :stuck_out_tongue:

hehe - I got the joke - or most of it anyway - but I just thought I should clarify before

anyone else got confused - but I agree it’s little quirks like that that make places like this worth while.

Yeah, little quirks rock . . .

But what

gives Luxo Jr.?? Already you change our Avatar?!!

BTW- great signature!!

And on a somwhat topic

related note, I think Ratatouille is going to be awesome! It’s teaser is the first

teaser that I didn’t have any doubts for!

Oh i found it became annoying. Yeah, Ratatouille looks

like lots of fun.

Isn’t Ratatouille something about a Rat wanting to become

a chef? That’s all I know…

I found a John Lasseter interview

on YouTube. It’s mostly about Cars, but at the very end, he gives a quick description of Ratatouille and its

message.

Great

stuff there. Thanks again Aggie.

We all know John Ratzenburgger is going to be in. Also the

guy who played Dim in A bugs Life is also in the movie.

Whats

the theme of this movie? I’m interested knowing what it is

The theme? I think John Lasseter said a while ago that this film is about pursuing

your dreams even when the whole world is against you (i.e., achieving the impossible dream). I suppose it’s

something along those lines:)
