I just stumbled upon this today, which fascinated me as I had no idea this project existed. I had heard Ricky Nierva mention that he worked on a film called Ray Gun on the Spline Cast. Apparently it was canceled, but I was interested so I Googled it. Turns out it’s a canceled Pixar project that was meant to be the studio’s first 2D animated feature, directed by Brad Bird. I guess it’s not gonna get made, but I would’ve loved to see more about it.

I would have liked to hear more, too. I would kinda like to see Pixar do a 2D film.

Sad. Maybe it’ll be revived some day…Pixar could use Disney’s own hand to slap them at the box office XD
