M-Bur: I use plain old Quick Time Player and Paint. For movies like Ratatouille and Cars, which I downloaded off of iTunes, I can open it in QuickTime, pause on a frame I want, go to the drop-down list and click “copy”. Then I paste it in Paint.
However, with my digital copy of WALL•E, it won’t let me do that. It gives me a grey screen when I copy it. So I have to use the Windows Vista snipping tool, which is a pain in the butt and you have to crop it just right so you don’t crop a piece of the QT screen into your frame. Tedious work, but it’s worth it.
Pixfan: Well, usually my work comes in very small bits, anyways. Every now and then I’ll get this huge surge of ideas, and I’ll make like ten siggys, but recently they’ve just been trickling in. But thank you so much for coming to check up on them and look at them. Really, really appreciate it!!!
