Remy's personality

I’ve been wondering about Remy’s personality lately. He seems to be a very confused rat. I was wondering what you all thought of Remy’s personality.

Complex is the right word…

Remy’s at that age where most humans strike out on their own and try to find out who they are and what they want to do in life. Remy may have been considered a “black sheep” of his family for his gift and the different ways he handles things.
Remy is very moody. Uncertain whether to be a rat for his dad or a chef for humans or whatever. Before the point at the end, Remy talks to Guesteau about his difficulties. Trying to be two different things for two very different people, with the inability to find acceptance for both.

He was just trying to find his identity. A, form of, outcast from his family for his views. And a rarity, and, mostly, unaccepting part of the human world. Trying to cope with being accepted by everyone just tears him up inside…

Fearless and perserverence is what I would describe Remy. I mean, he dared to dream big. He dared to do anything to accomplish his dream. And though he encountered a lot of obstacles, he overcame all of them.
