Rest In Peace

Rboin Williams, a funny man, and someone who enterained and touched all of us. May he rest in peace

Jumanji, Hook, Night at the Museum films… he starred in many a classic. What makes it all the worse is that he committed suicide.

It’s often said celebrities die in groups of three, so I was afraid when I was about to read the news this morning.

And, indeed, it was Lauren Bacall’s turn now. As a lover of film noir, I mourn for the last femme fatale.

I couldn’t believe it either! He was so funny, so gifted, brilliant, and lively. He was my favorite actor and just made so many memorable for me. The words he spoke, too, even though it was through his characters in acting, were so genuine and inspiring. I never knew he suffered from depression and suicidal thoughts. :frowning:

I, too, have heard of Robin Williams and his apparent suicide on the radio (I was listening to our local classic hits station)

I just can’t describe how I felt when I heard that Robin Williams died. It was like everything around me stopped and time stood still. He was just brilliant in his movies, he always made me laugh.

Rest in peace, Robin Williams. I hope you make the people in heaven laugh.

We’ve lost so many great actors in the last year haven’t we? I’m still very sad about this. His family is in my prayers, I can’t imagine how they’re taking it still :frowning:

RIP the great Lord Richard Attenborough :frowning:

German actor and voice actor Peer Augustinski died on Friday at the age of 74 years. He was the official voice voice for Robin Williams since the mid-80’s as well as Woody in the first two Toy Story films. Also, Peer kept voicing the Genie from Aladdin even when Robin didn’t do the voice.

Rest in peace

RIP Elizabeth Pena, voice of Mirage of The Incredibles

Ow. She was quite young still.

Yeah, she was only 55. :frowning:

Never saw much of her work, but she had a beautiful voice.

I’ve seen her in Rush Hour 1 and Modern Family as well as TI

She also appeared in Jacob’s Ladder which I’m currently watching.

How did she pass? I still haven’t heard much more about it :frowning:

I looked it up and it said that her death was casued mostly from alcohol abuse.

Former voice actress Christine Cavanaugh had recently died. Best remembered for the voices of Chuckie and Dexter.

RIP to the guy who played the role of Spock from “Star Trek” at the age of 83. The Trekkies will surely miss him… :frowning:
