Yeah, see, that’s another problem: Sometimes, people who are involved in the game suddenly disappear for a long period of time (or worse: forever). I don’t think that there is any fear of that happening on this board though. Eheh.

I do know that once it starts, I am going to be so incredibly active in it!
Just for clarification here… If we decide to try this, I already have the rules and everything set out. I’ve always been vehemently against RPGs in the past simply for the fact that they don’t work. Recently however I got involved over at RonStoppable.net and they have a system that not only works but is markedly efficient and allows anyone to participate at any level they choose. So if we do this we’ll follow their design; I just wanted to use this thread to gauge interest and see if it’s worth the trouble. =)
Hey, If you’ve got everything on lock, then it should be fine. I’ve never roleplayed though so I’ll have to sit back and scope before I decide to jump in.

I’m kind of yes and no. On the one hand, it sounds very cool, and since it’s something I’ve never participated in before, I’ll be very curious to see what it’s like. On the other hand, there really does need to be plenty of rules that everyone understands and adheres to, since we don’t want things to get out of hand. But it’s definitely worth a go! 
So Dash? Have you decided yet if we are going to RP here on Pixar Planet? I can tell many here really want to try it out.

I vote yes. Role Playing is a great skill to use on a forum, it brings up activity and attracts users. It should be a sub forum in the Off Topic section. I have role played with Marie on this forum before. I have made a role play forum before…Sexual role play probably would be prohibited on this forum, as it is rated PG here. I assume most people here vote yes as well.

I’m with PV on this. I really don’t see any need whatsoever for roleplaying. Although I do hang around the Off-Topic section quite a bit (I’m trying to cut back on that) , I agree that there should be more Pixar-related disscussion here. This is a Pixar fansite after all.
Heh. Ya’ know, I think I’m starting to agree with PV, as well. The last thing we need is more activity in an already buzzing hive (ie., the “Off-topic” section, etc.).
Oh well. So much for that! I suppose that it is for the better, though.
