Yes, but for others who want it. I probably won’t be very involved.
Maybe… My concern is this… and I will leave a comment.

Now I’m looking for suggestions…
So - Anyone here interested in roleplay?
I’ve come across some neat ideas that I think will work but be simple simultaneously. If you’re genuinely interested say so and why. I only want to try it if there’s interest.
Interesting idea. I chose the third option, mainly for this particular reason:
Role-playing has always been a topic of interest to me, yet it has also caused me some concern. Almost every role-playing situation I have encountered tends to get “messy” and out of hand, so to speak. The pace of the play has a bad habit of running at a steady speed of a thousand miles per hour; in other words, people post their replies too quickly, characters get mixed up, and other, similar problems occur.
If these errors would me omitted/fixed and/or solved completely, however, I would be more than happy to join in on the fun!

P.S. By the way, I absolutely love the little saying that pops up on the screen after you vote:
Roleplaying is where a group of people get together and pretend to be someone else (in this case Pixar characters/people) so that they can interact with others.
I don’t see why we shouldn’t at least try this out. There should definitely be rules in place, though. I would like to see how other people go about it first. You would have to be pretty knowledgeable about your character as well, to know how they would respond to certain situations, for example.
I don’t know. People would have to be really good at it. I roleplayed in Disney and spoke with this one person who was like talking to the Genie from Aladdin- didn’t use the same jokes in the film but was original, pure, and true to the character. I’d only roleplay if I knew a certain character inside and out.
So, for instance, if it were a Cars roleplay, one person would act like Mater all the time, while others did other characters? Sounds fantabulous. (Wow, that made me cringe)
Im all in for the rpg idea but i can understand mitches worie. So here my idea on fixing that problem. Set it up where on that topic/s to where people after they post have to wait about 10 to 30 minutes before they can post in that topic again. I know it can be on a whole forum level but can it be done on forum topic level.(and yes i know way to much about computer stuff) It’s Up to you dash if you use my idea.
Sounds like fun to me. I probably wont get to involved though. Me and a friend of mine tried that once, but it died off. No real reason, I guess we just lost interest.
I agree with rachel in that it would be more helpful to know the personality and demeanor(s) of the character you are playing; it would make that entity seem more “lively”, in a way.
I am also on nightwheel’s side in that it would be great if there was a default system that would hold people off from posting for a certain amount of time after replying to someone’s message. Ten to thirty minutes seems a little long, but I suppose that five minutes (give or take) would be adequate.
I’d rather just stick with one character so as not to make things too complicated. Then again, I suppose there would be different threads/“worlds” to interact in, each with their own separate characters/entities (ie., an “Incredibles” role-playing thread; a Ratatouille role-playing thread; etc…).
I think it is going to be just one great big Pixar RP thread. Then again, you get that time where someone posts as a character, while in a conversation, then the character suddenly disappears because He/She isn’t posting in that anymore.
