I don’t see anything wrong with any Pixar film. I haven’t stated any negative things about any Pixar movie. Ever.
So many people here think they’re professional critics. They take these movies too seriously. They expect Pixar to be perfect all of the time. Newsflash, nothing is perfect. OH NO! Cars 2 is going to be funny! We can’t have laughter! Every single Pixar movie needs to make us cry or else it’s terrible!
An animated movie that isn’t serious? OH NO!!!

Don’t like it? Don’t see it. I really don’t think Pixar will care that much.

I don’t think Pixar is that greedy. At least they’re trying not to be. NOW Disney, disney’s greedy. I’m pretty sure Pixar enjoys making films and they’re not doing this for the financial benefits. I’m pretty sure if Stanton had his way with the merchandising on Wall-E, he wouldn’t make any.

i swear, if there’s not a decent amount of SallyXMcqueen in cars 2 imma cry. Not even kidding. Here’s my guesses:

  1. She’ll have few lines, the romance will be downplayed, barely any screentime for the couple, then some huge romance at the end. Like, huge huge. Proposal, maybe.
  2. The purple female car in the trailer who says “Oh, you’ve got to be joking.” will be some sort of competion for the romance role for McQueen. It’ll show Sally back home in RS watching TV and seeing a report on McQueen dating the purple car, Sally gets all ticked, confronts McQueen, it turns out not to be true, happily ever after.
  3. Sally has one line and the romance is cut.

Pixar has never let us down before when it comes to sequels. I mean, in toy story 3 bzz and jessie was DEFINATELY continued. John Lasseter knows what his fans want. He won’t dissapoint. PIxar never has, not once.

The purple car’s name is Holly, and she’s supposibly the love interest for Mater. (I’m not completely sure, but that’s what I’ve heard)

Yeah, Holley is Mater’s. There’s not a chance Lightning will leave Sally. I don’t even know why that ever even crossed anyone’s mind. He loves her.

Exactly!! Besides, for some reason, I really think Lightning would get very annoyed with anyone who thought they were better than him. I think Holley would think that.
