Hey guys. Can’t write too much because I’m in line for a portfolio review from Sega and Nickelodeon. Yeah, I’m still at the con and it’s been completely insane. I know by now everybody’s been reading up on the Bolt/UP panel, so I thought I just drop off a pic from my POV.
I’m squirming in my seat right now! I hope you two bump into each other – how cool would that be?
Now PP members can get exclusives from Comic Con! And if you come back with a trunkload of spoilers, bury this thread with them, regardless. Spill all please!! I love this!
Man, I wish I could go. I love animation and comics to much. Not just Pixar wise, but in general, and I’ sure I’m not alone here. I’ve been wanting to go to that convention for a few years now.
Hey, don’t get so busy with the Up stuff you forget about looking for WALL-E, k? I have gotten reports of stuff from the movie there. ^^
Heh, I’m here. Things are just still really busy. You guys can post specific questions if you want. That might be easier. There’s kind of a lot to talk about.
Oh, and pic request too. I took a million and one pics. My poor camera is so beat up from being knocked out of my hand. The crowds were nuts!
Wow you guys are so lucky!! I’m glowing green with envy right now! I wish we had comic con in Australia, at least in Sydney, I’d still be able to conjure enough money to go!
I was looking up some blogs and have been browsing through heaps of comic con photos by random people and it looks so AWESOME! Can’t wait to hear all of your feed back!
Yup, some of the costumes there were way awesome. I don’t want to bog down the server and other forum members load times, so I’m just going to provide a link to my photobucket account.
The megaman was a promotional costume. The Ironman won an award for his work. And believe it or not Bumblebee won the youth award. When I first saw it I was like “that has to be a MIT student or something.” shrug Who knew?
It’s a gigantic convention center filled with people who like the same stuff as everyone else…it’s amaaazing xD And the location couldn’t be closer…seriously!
One of the coolest parts: A section at the very back, against the wall, that had all of the posters (Y’know, Wall-E and such) done by Eric Tan. I bought one for Up, as it was all I could afford without spending all my money…cost $75 But the best part! I got to meet and have it signed by the guy himself! Very cool.
I just noticed this thread.
Well, as some of you may already know, I’ve went to Comic-Con this year and had an awesome time - and shared some of the experiences (Pixar, Disney related) here on Pixar Planet in some of the threads.
Anyways, I can share more of the things that went on if anyone’s interested; but as of now, I’m tired. lol
So maybe later.
They had posters for Up?!?!?!?! I bought an awesome WALL-E Cough Buy N’ Large add poster, but I did not see any Up posters.
Well… I love my WALL-E poster anyways… But dang, I would have never thought of there being stuff for Up already.
By the way, here’s the WALL-E poster I bought: a29.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/ima … 922dfc.jpg
I love it, and I’ve never seen one like this before. Have any of you guys seen on like it before?
Whoa! I’m floored by Bumblebee and Iron Man! Thanks for taking snapshots of everything in sight. Wonder if they wish they could impress people and converse with them, but I guess you can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Yeah, I almost didn’t see it. It hid somewhere below all the rest of the posters. I dunno if I want to scan it, but it says “See the world by balloon! Adventure is out there.” and it’s neat-o!
Wall-E poster: They sell them at my Blockbuster I like all the posters that have come out for this movie, so cool.
