Well is been floating around the media for a few weeks. Quite a few Mattel toys made in China were painted with lead paint or their magnents are falling off. One of the toys being recalled is the Sarge Die-Cast toy cars.
Because the toy car was painted with lead paint. But only the Sarge cars made in China not the one made in tiwan. The bad thing is that moms and dads bought the toys for their kids thinking their safe for their kids to have. And the kids are wanting the toys. Target because of the recall pulled all of the Die-Cast Cars cars off the shelfs and racks. Another thing is that colectors probly won’t turn in the recalled sarge toys. But this is the bad thing, It’s not illegal to paint toys with lead paint and sell them in China .
Whats your guys thought on the matter?
Oh yea my dad used to work for Mattel. Now that same bulding that used to be Mattel is Pella Windows because they moved the plant to mexcio. My dad works at Pella now too.
And I thought they were all sold out…
I saw this in the media and cracked up but didn’t realize that was why all the Cars were “Sold Out”
Kid: Mommy?
Mom: What?
Kid: I don’t feel so good…
Mom: Did you eat something that upset your tummy?
Kid: Yes…
Mom: What did you eat?
Kid: Sarge…
It sucks though because I won’t be able to get any new cars for awhile…

I heard rumors that Radiator Springs buildings are being re-released only in “Toys R Us” with “Supercharged” packaging, am I right?
Hopefully I am, because I saw Ramone’s House of Body Art and Flo’s V8 Cafe’ and I need all but Ramone’s. Now, the new packaging price will decline and I can get the whole town cheap.
Yeah, my local newspaper is making a big deal about it. You’ll only get lead poisoning if you shove the thing in your mouth.
Of course, it could be a danger to animals. I hate to say it, but we’d be lucky if our animals would drop dead from it. They’ve eaten deadly things before only to throw it up and live, much to my dad’s dismay lol!
Near me both Toys R Us and Target pulled all their cars die casts. And they wouldnt let me buy any. I’m not gonna be shoving cars down my throat anytime soon. I guess I can understand why they cant sell them to me, but when I was getting them the stock girl was taking them all down & putting them in a box. She told me they were being recalled. I told her it was okay, I wanted them anyway, and she said “Okay”. It was only when I got up to the register that they told me I couldnt get them. Then I wondered why the stock girl hadnt told me that in the first place.
Now - what irks me here (and SHOULD be irking the makers too) is that only Sarge has been recalled. They have no business refusing to sell the others and I hope they get backlash for it.
I was looking through my collection and discovered a contaminated Sarge! How weird, I know becuase of the code on the package if your has the code: M1253, then you got yourself a contminated Sarge, I will keep it, since I have lots of cars.
so , nobody’s bringing there’s back , right ? I was told that they were all recalled by my aunt who works at toys r’ us , and I didn’t want to return them if nobody else was , i mean , really , it’s not like i have them all open and i’m licking them … lol …
btw , totally off topic , but i love the new skins mell made . they look very modern !
There is also the movie moments Sarge, depends when you purchased it. I know that there are some sarges that are contaminated and that goes for the movie moments too. I know i saw the code for the mm pack, but i forgot it.

I think I remember having read that a Chinese exec or something committed suicide, which is kind of understandable, if way over-the-top… But Chinese courts giving somebody the death sentence, that’s just wrong.
Actually, if you read the article, the guy who was executed took bribes to allow a medicine to be sold that he KNEW was deadly. Ten people died from it. So basically, he killed ten people. He knew that people would die, and he did it for money. Accepting money to sell a fatal product? Then people die for your greed? I can see the death penalty for this kind of murder.
If my best friend or mother was one of the ten people who died because he was paid off, I would want him executed too.
