Say something about yourself

Geez, that sounds great aerostarmonk!

Well, I’m gonna be going to Vegas for the New Years, and staying at a hotel for a few days there. I know it’s not exactly the most…pleasant place to be at (they call it Sin City for a reason!), but I’m gonna make the most of it.

I read James Joyce’s love letters the other day. This should pretty much explain how I felt when I read them:

Never read James Joyce’s love letters if you know what’s good for you.

I still play with action figures and toys

I think nothing has the capacity to move our souls as instrumental music, a magic beyond everything else.

I agree, 45% of why I love Pixar is their scores.

The scores were what got me interested on movies on first place! The Jurassic Park credits, to be specific, at the tender age of four 8D

I think Community Channel on YouTube is hilarioous. Has anyone ever watched her before??

^ No :frowning:

I think I’ve already said this, but I collect Jules Verne’s books.

I can wink with both eyes.

I can too!

I’m a African American…

Haha, i accidentally posted something about myself on the “post about the person above you” post! must have caused some dilemmas somewhere!

Well, here goes:

I became engrossed in Pixar after a chance visit watching Wall-E one Sunday Morning. Back then, I felt i was getting a little too old for all of these Pixar movies so i practicly ignored them. I saw a commercial for Wall-E and nothing gave me any interest in watching it. So, when it came on the first thing i turned on the TV, i thought ‘what the hell’ and decided to watch it for the morning.
After doing so, i was absolutely amazed by the whole movie entirely that i felt that Pixar always targets not only the kid population but of the teenage and adult one too. I’ve come to look further beyond the cute humor and ‘adorability’ that pixar stresses upon the children and look further into what they’re really trying to get at in their films, their adaptations, morals, hell, even their titles has some meaning!
So, that’s how I found PixarPlanet and migrated here. I had another off-topic forum which i didn’t really like all the negative energy consuming the forum as a whole (but i still visit it daily). Ok, let’s get to ME:

I have a novel i’m working on (it’s a fanfic, but it has really nothing to do with Pixar), I’ve Watched Wall-E through two weeks almost daily, one day almost 3 times, and two days twice (so, that’s about 18 times i’ve seen it…in 2 weeks!). I’m ancestors to the builders of the Lincoln Memorial, i have double jointed feet (i can bend the farthest end back over 90 degrees, especially with my index toes. Also, i can put one toe over the other!), i have an insane passion with drums (i’ve barely played them, but when i do, IT’S REALLY GOOD!), I like any comedy movies (especially the stoner ones!), I like playing videogames and i like the tv series Mystery Science Theater 3000! (I like to comment on the tv programs like in the series)

Welcome to the wonderful Pixar fandom, somethingguy912

I just had a thought on your aliens 2 sig, why don’t you make that interesting I on both I’s so we know it’s a sequel?

I frequently face that choice with the I’s, as I have two on my username.

For example, when I did the Pixar logo I briefly considered putting two Luxos on the I’s, but I discarded the idea. This time it could have worked because it’s for a sequel, as you said.

Welcome to the forums somethingguy912!

Heres some more factoids about me:

*My heritage is German, French, Mexican, Italian, Irish, and Native American

*I love US history and European history

*I was born and raised a Californian

*My middle name is a family name, “Marie”

My middle name is Kenneth.

If I ever plan on having children I’ll adopt. I refuse to continue my genetic lineage.

I’m contemplating not doing Comic-Con next year but instead taking a 60 day bus trip around the country.

I want one or two of my own children, but not more than 2. And adopt others. Reason? Population control. And since I’m a woman, I’d be the one giving birth. And to quote Daffy Duck “I’m not like most people, pain hurts me!”

I would also adopt (just one), for a lot of different reasons, being population control one of the principal.

Just for you to know, my middle name is Steven.
