No, it’s not from Finding
Nemo, but it sure looks like a rip-off of
it.

There’s a thread over at Animated-News showing this movie poster for an upcoming
Americanized animated movie entitled “Shark Bait”. Not only does the movie feature a shark, a sea
turtle, and an orange fish as the main character, but the composition of the poster is similar to that of the
Finding Nemo
poster.

The plot isn’t very original either.
from IMDb:
After losing everything,
a young fish, Pi, goes to live with his family on the Reef. There he meets the love of his life but finds that
she already has the unwanted affections of a bully shark. He must follow his destiny to save her and rid the
Reef of this menace for good.
Plus, the use of the name “Shark Bait” is
really pushing it.

Reminds me also of Shark Tale
:

I
didn’t see it, though ; but the title and the way it’s written are very ressembling. Anyway, it’s
pathetic.
There was also this DVD, released on June 20th in USA

Disgusting…
The shark bait is really pushing it ( i know u said that pv but i
agree 100% ). I say we sue ! ( by we i mean the disney/pixar company . not really us ) Or at least boycott the
movie when it comes out .
Let’s think , it it takes those people also about three to four to make their
movies too , they definetly got this from pixar .
doesn’t sound good either . I swear if the
sea turtle talks like a hippie , i will scream . Luckily if the critics think it’s like
Finding Nemo they’ll just give it not so many stars .
Hmph , serves them right .
It’s disgusting.
Oh, and by the way,
that car movie that Archibald showed us, That is just so wrong!

Makes me wonder if the people will say when it comes out, "Wait, why does this movie all
of th sudden reminds me of Finding Nemo?"
Shark Bait? LOL! Are they like taking
the…Haha, that’s so funny. ‘Shark Bait’. Who are they trying to kid?
Oh, and for the record,
the Finding Nemo poster is actually better. I mean, come on, rip something off, sure, but not rip it off
properly?
Honestly.
we all know ur angry , so
please don’t use giant capitals and overuse the " ! " key .
That Little Cars poster is atrocious. The one character
is a ridiculous combination of Mater, Fillmore, Red, and Sheriff. Blech!

Well, at
least we know that these movies are not really going to make much money. And hey, these companies are only
embarrassing themselves.

Oh yeah,
I heard of this joke. It’s Nemo saving a pearl (referring to Pearl the octopus?) from Bruce the shark.
?Eh!
How dare these companies take made ideas and
steal hardwork from the people at Pixar.
*I hope that the company who is
producing the “Shark Bait” film does not steal or take any inference from Director, Andrew Stanton’s
thoughts of Dory, on FN in anyway either

Dory’s
Defender - Heheh – yeah, really. But you have to admit that it’s kinda funny. You can’t get any
more unoriginal than that!

So it seems that “classic” genre of
cheaply animated films knocking off actually popular Disney films(and others, I’ve seen a crap version of
Anastasia at Mr. Movies) has finally upgraded to CGI. Man, the designs for the Cars knockoff are even worse than
Shark Bait, that’s for sure. At least Shark Bait kinda tries going for a somewhat different look, but like PV
said, one of those characters is some sort of Frankencar.
