Short Interviews with Animated Characters of 2009

Short interviews with characters from the 5 nominated animated features for an Oscar. I smile when I watch this. (2009 films had some tight competition there!)

Okay, I bet some of you have seen this already, and if this has already been shared on Pixar Planet somewhere, go ahead and lock this up, mods. Sorry, I haven’t been on a while so I don’t know what’s been discussed or not…

Anyway, next to finding the TV special of celebrating Disney animation, this also made my day. My favorite is the one with Naveen and Louis. Check it out!

That’s funny. I liked Carl and Dug.

That was pretty funny. xD

I wonder if they will do stuff like this as well for this year. I found it a cool idea

Yeah, this was how they introduced the Animated Feature nominees at the Oscars - I thought this was great!

Louis: “This is not gonna end up on Youtube, is it?” 8D

Much better than 2006’s ‘character-composited-to-sit-amongst-the-audience’. The characters didn’t even say anything, and Mumble just bounced in his seat when he won!

Don’t know how they did '07 and '08.

This is brilliant, love how so many animation mediums are represented here. Thanks for the link, BDD, I knew it existed, but I always wanted to watch it!

I so remember watching that when my family was watching the Oscars. My entire family got excited when Dug and Carl appeared, they were like “Ooooo Up!!!”

My favorite one was the Princess and the Frog one. Louis for the win!

That was really cute. I remember seeing that at the Oscars. When Carl and Dug came on she started screaming “Up! Up! Up! Up!” and I had to tell her to be quiet so I could hear.

Ah, the Oscars. The Princess and the Frog’s interview was the best one.

“This isn’t gonna end up on YouTube, is it?” Yes, Louis. Yes it did.

I remember how dissapointed yet not really suprised I was to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen loose the only nomination it got. Movie wasn’t perfect, but all of Hollywood doesn’t have to jump on the bandwagon.
