Shrek the Musical?!? Coming to Broadway this fall!

AS GOOD AS THE MOVIE?

NONE OF THE SHREK MOVIES ARE GOOD!!!

I disagree, the Shrek movies were really funny and enjoyable. The first one was good, I liked the second one a lot better (but that is just me) and I have yet to see the third one in its entirety.

Thanks! It was definitely worth the seven minutes it took to realize that the Ratatouille DVD was not in my room but my sister’s, sneaking into her room while she was asleep, steeling it, finding the scene, taking the screenshot, uploading it on Imageshack, and posting it here!

It was, really

Maybe… if it is as good as the first one. I have hope, though. Avenue Q is quite funny, and if anybody could make Shrek into a good musical, then that Tony-award winning director can!

did u seriously do all that just to get that frame? You could have probably found it on Google Image Search.

Pixelated: You could be right on that. And the actors have to be good, but one really key thing that must come into play is the technical side of it. NOw teching that play would be an adventure.

TSS,

If you want to not waste any of your time, you will never see Shrek 3.

And why not? My friends tell me that it is quite enjoyable. Why do you hate Shrek so much? Just currious.

Ooh yes! In fact, teching any broadway show would be an adventure

(Are you a techie too, TSS?)

cause it’s just not good AT ALL! It’s never, ever good. Never. Ever. Never. Ever. Ever.

Pixelated: No, I am not a techie. I am an actor. I do the performing.

TS2: Well, that is just your opinion. I won’t force anything on you.

god there should be a forum to count how many people absolutely hate Shrek on these Forums.

Anyone know where I can find more info on this show?

on the website for the PLAYBILL CO.

TSS: An actor? You are… one of them?! (Just kidding, it’s just our tech crew has a huge rivalry against the actors… no hard feelings!)

Personally, what I didn’t like about Shrek 2 and 3 was that they just weren’t funny. If you are going to have a, in my opinion, mediocre plot then you might as well have good jokes. But I personally didn’t laugh during them.

But that is just me! I loved Shrek 1, because it was funny to me! Watching Shrek 2 and Shrek 3 gave me the same feeling as watching a new episode of The Simpsons today. They force the joke on you, rather than subtly building up to a punch line.

I know a lot of people loved Shrek 1 and hated Shrek 2 and 3, but I hated all three!

whoa… that kinda rhymed!

I wonder who would be fitting to play the roles of the main characters.

Pixelated: O-T: Our techies and actors share a special bond. Surprisingly, there was no war this year.

I just found out the title of the fourth Shrek movie:

“Shrek Goes Fourth”

(actually not a bad title I have to admit)

It’s gonna be an ‘eco-friendly’ story about how Shrek’s swamp is thretened by the bad environment (choke… gag… could they make a worse story?)

I guess I’m one of the few that actually liked the second Shrek, maybe even more than the first.

Shrek the Turd is the only stinker as far as I’m concerned.

Skippy: Well, I have yet to see Shrek the 3rd in its full entire length, so I have no opinion on it whatsoever.
