Signatures

I have noticed that all of us have very unique

signature. Tell us about them.

I love mine.

It’s the Pixar logo but X is the Mac OSX logo on a G4 iMac. Big up the Macs LOL.

I have 3 of them right now:

 1. “Countdown till cars is on DVD”. I?ll probably have a Ratatouille countdown after the cars one

is over.

 1. "They call me?“The Pixar Historian”. I like that one it?s funny. 8D

 2. “JV IS TIZ!!! (TIZ Means Super Cool)”, I?m just telling you what ?TIZ?

means.8D

I like to

change my sig/avatar every few weeks. What I use next depends on my mood or an event. My current assembly is

for Halloween, but what lies ahead? ;-p

Tony Rydinger…?

Heh – sorry,

PV.

Well, my signature is rather…elaborate to the point of nonelaboration. Did that make any sense?

(sniggers) Here is a summary of my signature:

Quote #1: It’s one of my

favorite lines in the Ratatouille (teaser) trailer. Plus, Remy’s overall reaction

in the particular moment is just…hilarious. It’s something that my sister and I would do…

Quote#2: This one advertises my Ratatouile

story in the fan fiction section of this board. Anyone who is interested in reading it may go ahead and click the

link with full speed!

Ironically, I had to look at my own profile for reference: I forgot what my own

signature looked like. :stuck_out_tongue:

:loves: Haha, Mitch. I’ll save him for Valentine’s Day.

Mine features Edward Cullen from teh Twilight Series

by Stephenie Meyer. The pictures are from the Japanese covers I may make a new one soon. I dunno.

Mine is a time laps thing I found. ^^;

Would’ve figured

that one out. I’m curious, is it going to be a pic of you and Tony or Violet and Tony?

[quote="The Star

Swordsman"]
Would’ve figured that one out.
I was just about to say that…

By the way, I like your time-laps signature, Abbervail Dream.

I made my signature from a picture I found

that’s related to the upcoming Disney film, ‘Rapunzel’. It’s coming out in 2009, and will be in CG… now I

know a lot of you will think Disney + CG will equal something like another Chicken Little, but I’m extremely

excited for this movie. The art looks like it will be something quite new.

Taken from

wikipedia:

"Non-photorealistic rendering is going to be used, making the surface look like it is

painted but still containing depth and dimensions. Animation blog jimhillmedia.com has described the artistic

style of this film as being one of “astonishing beauty.” A three-second test footage of the film was

shown at the Siggraph 2005 convention, and it supposedly drew much attention, leaving many bystanders

speechless."

After reading something like that, how can you NOT get excited?

To all who wonder about my Valentine’s Day sig…I dunno. LOL It’s too soon to

tell.

Mine’s a picture from the comic book, ‘Ghost World’, by

Daniel Clowes. I love the comic and the film, and so…I’ve got a picture of it in my siggy. Very deep and

meaningful, that.

My signature is

first, a quote from my computer graphics/animation professor/academic advisor (who is AWESOME), about one of the

many reasons why computer science people are way cooler than math people. Nerdy, yeah. But it’s cool.

The second is a link to my deviantArt profile, since I sometimes put my 3D work up, and it’s fun times

all around.

Hehe, I started that in my MSN Messenger screenname when it was still in the

300’s, more or less as soon as I found out that the date had been announced. I’ve considered putting it in my

sig here at Pixar Planet a few times, but decided not to just because I was already editing it every day on MSN

and was feeling too lazy to do the same here. :unamused: Of course, now that I’ve said that, I feel bad for being so

lazy and shall be off to insert it into my sig immediately.

“SUPAH-GENIUS”

 • A running gag

from disc 2 of the A Bug’s Life DVD (Special “Supah-Genius” Edition), also briefly mentioned on disc 2

of the Monsters, Inc. DVD. Although they weren’t using it to describe themselves (well, they were on the MI

DVD, but whatever), they are such supah-geniuses that I just had to do it. If there’s anybody here who doesn’t

already know this, they ought to be shot multiple times, but nevertheless, the supah-geniuses in the sig are,

from left to right: Andrew Stanton, Lee Unkrich, John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Pete Docter, Joe

Ranft.

“Sanding the undersides of the drawers since 1986!”

 • Tying together 1) JL’s quote

from the Monsters, Inc. commentary that they’re such sticklers for details at Pixar that they "sand the

undersides of the drawers" and 2) the year Pixar was founded as a company.

"delf, n.: a drain,

as one on the landward side of a sea wall."
Not exactly what I had in mind, but okay…

 • What showed

up when I randomly decided to look in Webster’s and see if my screenname was actually a real word. As you can

probably guess, it turned out that indeed it was. As you can also probably guess, the definition was not at all

what I had in mind when choosing my screenname (the real history of which can be found elsewhere in the forums).

Pretty self-explanatory, at least I think.

I changed mine. XD

It’s Daisuke and Dark from DNAngel now. XD

<3
Dark is the one with th epurple hair, and Daisuke is the one with the red hair. I could explain the

‘Split Personality’ bit, but maybe later, as it it late and I’m tired.

Aggie:

I can completely relate to what you were saying there. I also eagerly await the release of

Rapunzel; hopefully, it will be a good one! I’ve always loved your sig, by the way.

DElf4242: Wow – that’s interesting (concerning your signature history, I

mean).

Sammeh: I love your new avatar and signature.

Mitch: I didn’t make the

avatar, I t got it from daydreamgraphics.com XD

But, thank you. ^____^

What anime is your sig and avi from?

It’s called DNAngel. I’ve really only read the manga.
