Some new characters of TS3 have similarities to old characters.
Like Twitch.

Though, the heads aren’t similar a lot, he has a bug head like…

Rockmobile. Who’s atop a Rocky Gibraltar toy.
Then there’s Lotso.

He may of been based on another pink bear that was seen in Toy Story…

Lotso also had a similar fate to Stinky Pete.
Next is Sparks…

Who has some similarities to the robot off TS1…

There’s also…

While he’s not really similar to Mr. Mike, they both have the same colour scheme. Not to mention that, if they talk, the don’t move their mouths. Aren’t they both by Fisherprice, as well?

And while Chuckles doesn’t look similar…

And, again, while there’s not much similarities with the Jack-in-the-hand…

Another Jack-in-the-box toy is the Hand-in-the-box.

Cool! I noticed some of the toys looked familiar. I guess it was subconcious.

I watched toy story 3 in swedish again today… And guess what they called Big baby? yes, Babyface! And that pink bear in toy story is called Teddy, and in toy story 3 in swedish they also call Lotso Teddy!

Wow, really? I knew the babyface part but Lotso’s called Teddy?

Well, we all know Lotso was originally supposed to have a small part in Toy Story (from the pictures I’ve seen, he’s just a brown teddy bear), however, he was utimately cut. When I found the resemblance between Teddy and Lotso on another forum, Kyle contacted Lee Unkrich, who flatout denied it was an early incarnation of Lotso.

But someone claimed that someone said on a commentary that Teddy might be an early Lotso.
