Sleepwalking!!!

Do you sleepwalk? Or talk in your sleep or even have a story of someone sleepwalking?

I used to sleepwalk but not anymore. I used to wake up upside down in bed and even in other rooms! And my mom says me and my brother both talk in our sleep.

My brother paul sleep walked when he was 10…my brother Jacob yells in his sleep and my brother paul also talks in his sleep.

i used to sleep-talk, even be able to have conversations!

I don’t anymore though.

Apparently I used to sleepwalk when I was younger, but I know I still sleeptalk - I sometimes wake up to the sound of my own voice. xD

I don’t think I’ve ever done anything like that. We’re learning about sleep and dreaming in Psychology at the moment, and saw some of the funniest videos of people doing strange things in their sleep. One guy actually killed his wife and wasn’t sentenced because he was asleep at the time (of course, this is one of the non-funny videos.)

I don’t sleepwalk, but if my body temperature is too high after I’ve fallen asleep (during the Summer, for example), my brain is mostly asleep and I think there are spiders in my bed, so I’ll jump out of bed, or mumble something and then turn on the light, which will wake me up. It’s always spiders. Happened the other night, and it’s really annoying.

Yeah, I’ve seen footage of people sleepwalking, or acting out their dreams in their sleep. Some people eat in their sleep, like, go and make a meal or microwave something, sit down and eat it, then go back to bed and have no recollection of doing so. Then they put on weight and have no idea why.

I learned about sleepwalking in my Psyc. Class about two months ago. I personally have never sleptwalked in my life.

I was attacked (literally) by a spider when I slept, pretty recently. I thought it was mosquitoes, but it was only on my feet. I stayed up a little later than usual, and caught the bugger crawling down excitedly from the ceiling. I swatted at it, thought I killed it, so I went back to bed.
Then my instincts were going haywire, so I turned on the light, and was suddenly searching around the TV area and it scrambled out of hiding. I murdered that little blood-sucker!

Sorry. That was a little off-topic, but I felt like sharing.

If anyone gets a chance to see the movie “Step Brothers” there’s a really funny scene of them sleepwalking. That’s actually what gave me the idea to post this thread.

Yah, I sleep-walk. According to my mom, I was close to walking out of our apartment if she hadn’t intervened when I was like 7. There’ve been times when people run into things like walls and injure their heads or get hit by cars by walking outisde during sleep-walking.

Frightening if you live alone and you sleep-walk.

I remember once I woke up to find my blanket gone, and it turned out to be all the way out of my room and down the hallway! I somehow have sleepwalked down my bunk bed, across the hallway, set the blanet down, and sleepwalked back.
And, my sister used to wake up upside down on her bed, her foot on the pillow instead. But once in a while, I hear her sleeptalk. Once, I went to sleep late, and was about to go to bed when my sister broke the quiet in a normal voice, saying, “No, wait!” and shocked me for a second. I instantly answered, “What?” and looked at her. She was asleep when she said that, lol.

My dad snores really loudly.

My younger sister used to sleepwalk all the time. One time I was in the kitchen talking to my friend on the phone [it was about 1 AM] and my sister sleepwalked into the kitchen and started yelling at me in her sleep, haha.

i used to sleepwalk but no one ever knew and i found i did because i found some of the most random things scattered all over the house

now i just sleeptalk and it’s really funny some of the things i say. my friends decided to record me while we were at san diego for a class trip and they also tried doing the cream-on-face prank but then i said something scary and freaked them out. they didn’t tell me what i said but they just said it was scary XD
