when we went to P.E. a few
days a go, we watched Cars. And at the ending when Lightning stopped before the finish line, people where like,
HUH? they’re faces look like this
Many people just didn’t get why Lightning didn’t cross the line, i felt
like i was the only one who actually knew why he stopped.
I
know what you mean, I get it alot. It seems like it should be chrystal clear, when he looks up at the screen and
sees The King and the picture fades to Doc…it usually just clicks that he realises that the win isn’t
everything, but sadly alot of people either just aren’t paying attention or don’t put the thought into
it
Oh well at least us Pixar fans learn the life lessons
I hear ya! Seems to me some people just don’t put a lot of thinking and understanding when watching a movie
that deals with life lessons, oh, you guys know I mean. It’s just that (some, not all ) teens don’t pay
attention to somethings as much as some people do.
I too thought Lightning was
crazy to stop and not take the win, but when I saw Doc’s face, I completely understood.

It’s interesting – and sometimes incredible – how a select few people won’t get the
meaning of a particular moment in time, even if it’s staring them right in the face.
Me? I understood
immediately, and I was so overjoyed by the fact that Lightning actually got to the point where he began to care
for someone other than himself. I almost felt like cheering with the crowd.
But hey, that’s just some
people. Some of us get it right away, some of us don’t. The point is that you do
get it.
Some people didn’t get that?
That’s strange…It’s so obvious!
Maybe they are just people who won stuff all of their life, they never really stop to think
about it.
