I’ve been lurking around the internet(NOT Pixarplanet) and I don’t know why some people think Lighting is "iffy"…"Oh just because he dosen’t have a personality like Mater or WALL-E" Seriously that’s EXTREMELY judgemental…what in the living heck do you want the boy to do kill himself? The sad think is I was kinda agreeing with that notion,and I feel stupid for even doing that…but yeah that’s ridculous…He’s changed ok? He LOVES Sally ok? He’s [b:3kjpkk14]NOT[/b:3kjpkk14] leaving RS or her [b:3kjpkk14]EVER[/b:3kjpkk14] ok? I feel as though Lightning is Pixar’s most misunderstood Main characters…sorry I’m just REALLY irratated right now…
I’ve never seen anyone say this but you. You seem paranoid that everyone is out to ruin the movie for you, and are jumping at metaphorical shadows.
I don’t think I’ve seen anyone on the forum doubt that Lightning and Sally love each other. The sequel isn’t going to put enough focus on Sally for them breaking up to be worth it. Calm down, ok.

No. so before making assumpions and talking about me read carefully and get your facts straight…I already know that m’kay I was just talking about something in general that was bothering me,don’t like it do enter the thread…Instead of putting me down you should’ve added something to the conversation…
I said my opinion, but I’ll elaborate. Of course Lightnings changed, you’d have to have missed the whole movie not to get that. Lightning and Sally’s relationship is going to be exactly the same in 2 as it was at the end of the first Cars. There is no point in Pixar making their relationship change, and maybe the sequel will change the minds of these “people on other forums”
The one’s who’ve said that may not have liked the movie.
It’s hard to say what Cars 2 will do to the relationship. A lot of times most movies will ignore the fact that they paired up characters.
With the lack of Sally (so far) mentioned for the sequel, hard to say what will go on.
But yes, McQueen has changed, and for the better. He was kind of a selfish jerk at first, thinking of himself until the drive with Sally, and learning to slow down.
You know just wondering do you like instagating people? Do you have anything better else to do then to be "councelor" over someone? Everytime I say something somebody always has to jump on my back…It’s really annoying…I’m thinking about telling the mods…
All I’m going to say about this is: you put this out there for everyone to not only see, but comment on, as well. Thus, anyone with any opinion has a right to make a statement, just as you did; whether they agree with you or not. It’s an open board, and if you didn’t want people commenting negatively - or at all - you shouldn’t have put it up in the first place.
I’m not trying to sound harsh, either. I’m simply saying, Reaper052 and Zenoah had every bit as much right to make a statement as you did. And to be quite honest with you, this thread opening up in the first place was an instigation in itself, because it was really asking for trouble.

There’s no sense of tone over the internet, and you’re taking everything I’m saying as an attack. That’s not what I’m trying to do, but I can see where you mistook what I’m trying to say. Its no big deal.
I agree, Lightning changed. However, I also agree that Zenoah and Reaper weren’t attacking you. You should bring your beefs up with these “other forums”, not people who haven’t do anything in the way of offending you.
Guys, seriously, can we just try to discuss about L&S’s relationship without attacking or getting defensive about it? I’m okay with discussions, but being rude isn’t nessecary!
Okay, I have been a long time lurker of these forums and have been waiting the right time to join, and this is it.
xCarsLuverx, I have been studying you. I have read a lot of your posts in the Cars section, and frankly, it looks like it’s going to have to be me to tell you this.
I can tell your posts really aggravate people.
You always make posts about how Cars is your favorite movie, which is totally fine. However, you always take every insult to Cars personally. Want examples? Look at your own posts here, on this thread.
You stated your opinion in the OP, and then totally made uncalled for responses to posters who wrote there opinion. There input is just as valuable as yours.
The thing that I feel most upset about by you is your aire of smugness. Additional comments like "duh…" or or make you look like your mocking others because they don’t have the same opinions as you.
I know this post should probably be a private message, but I want all of the Cars Community to see this, so I hope it’s not taken down. I think you should apologize to earlier posters on this thread like
Reading the posts in context, I don’t think xCarsLuverx was making a personal attack on anyone, or is looking for a fight. I think she was commenting on members of other fan-forums who doubt the legitimacy or fidelity of Lightning and Sally’s relationship.
xCarsLuverx, you have the right to start this thread, and I, personally, am not going to lock this (But if other Mods or members want to, I won’t stop them). But I want you to know that nobody here is questioning L&S’ relationship. We are all supportive of it, and you have nothing to be concerned about here.
I’m not being sarcastic or sucking up to you. I’m all honest here; I believe in Lightning and Sally (hey, that would make a great political campaign tagline). And I’m sure everyone else does too.
Yes, it’s annoying that others don’t share our passion for their relationship. And you don’t have to feel bad that others do feel this way, because obviously they’ve misunderstood the entire plot of Cars, which is the redemptive power of friendship (and in L&S’ case, romantic love).
So feel free to rant about this phenomenon. I rant about things all the time, from the Academy’s bias against animation, to gun control in America, to how inane kids’ TV shows are nowadays. As long as you don’t personally attack anyone or come off as dismissive, venting your frustration is fine.

We all know that so far that the movie is focusing on Lighting and Mater. Im sure Salley will be in the movie, here part will be more minor. He will proberaly talk about how he misses her or something.
