Sports

Do you play any sports and if so what are they?

I play golf and track

High School baseball (CF)

Helped the charter team (0.5 A) win the state championship.

We went undefeated all the way to the trophy.

WHen I was in 6th grade, I did fencing.

I did HS football in my Freshmen and Sophmore year of HS.

I play a little tennis every now and then.

But the biggest sport I play is theatre. I do al different kinds (straight plays, musicals, improv, etc). Many would say that this isn’t a sport, but they are dead wrong. Theatre is a big sport at my school. (that is why our threatre program is award-winning). We use team work, motivation, we practice every day, we get coached and taught, and do a lot of things athletes do.

Tennis, Swimming, Golf, Badminton, Snooker.

WALL-E: Snooker? What sport is that?

I don’t really do sports, but I do love a bit of squash and tennis, and general team game type things like rounders are usually quite fun.

WALL-E- You can play snooker? I couldn’t play to save my life. Holding the cue is a big challenge in itself for me. :stuck_out_tongue:

A bit like Pool, but with different coloured balls and different rules.

I like Pool. How different is it? You still gotta hit balls in the pocket right?

yes, look it up.

Ooh, intresting. I would like to play it if I had the chance to.

No, you wouldn’t. It might be similar to pool, but the table is absolutely mahoosive- usually 12 ft long, I think. So you have to be able to reach over and pot the balls at the most awkward angle. It’s pretty funny to watch, though.

My dad gets discounts to fancy hotels which have snooker rooms in so I play it there. the tables are HUGE.

I’ve never been naturally sporty person. But I’ll play a game of cricket with the family, as long as it’s in good fun, as well as throw a frisbee around at the park. Water volleyball is really fun, too, or ‘volleypool’ as we call it - we get really into the games and give our teams silly names and stuff like that. I also like bike-riding around the neighbourhood and walking.

LizardGirl- ha ha ha no wonder they don’t have it as an olympic sport yet.

Sports…heh…guess I played a few…

Street Footaball: Played 'til I was about 13 (basically football without the turf…wrestling moves allowed )

Basketball: “Dribbling since I was about 7 years old”…didn’t play organized games til about 13…played all throughout High School…Northern State Champs…:-D)

Kung-Fu: Always stayed in touch with the Martial Artsy side of me…making my way towards some form of kung-fu…haven’t had the opportunity to have official instruction…but I’ve learned a few tips and tricks from an experienced uncle…

Track n Field: Tried it my sophmore year in High School…Loved hurdles…heh too easy…just didn’t love running as much…shrugs

Boxing: Had a bit of a taste of it…still interested though…:-D)

Parkour: Dicovered this a couple years ago…very interested…hope to find an instructor one day…

Swimming: Learned how to…that’s about as far as it got…

Pool: Self-taught, just something fun to do in my spare time…not too bad at it either…

That’s about all I can think of now…whaddya expect?..I pretty much live for athletics…

I lettered in Track in HS. I also enjoy pool. Unfortunately I have weak ankles, so most sports are a bad idea for me to try. If it weren’t for that (and the fact that I’m a bloody coward) I’d get into street jumping. Utterly…fascinating.

I like to play, Pool, Bowling, Karate (if that’s a sport?), also does motor sports count? I love to mud bog in my truck ( go through stuff the other guy got stuck in  ).
