Fan couple pairings have always made me disinterested, no matter what movie. Just my opinion.
I agree. Only canon, please. 
Evil, I just have to wonder. Seeing as how Syndrome and Vi never came in any sort of contact in the film, how do they end up together? I’m not arguing, I’m just confused.

There are a lot of problems with Synlet, I’m aware. First and foremost is, he’s dead. That kinda gets in the way of relationships. I guess you could retcon him somehow, but in my opinion, it wouldn’t be canon. Secondly, if he did survive, he’d be locked away as soon as he showed his face. It doesn’t matter how much he may have changed, fact is, he’s a serial killer. Lastly, even if he was alive, and not behind bars, Violet would never even consider dating him. I think she’d turn him over to the NSA first chance she got. So while I admit Synlet is nigh impossible, I still like it

Funny that I would use that, as in my world Bob is like…15 years older than Helen, but still. Again, not arguing, it’s just so illogical.
Extremely illogical, I know. But not the most illogical fan pairing I’ve seen. The age thing isn’t a big deal to me. People say she’s around 13 at the time of the movie, and he’s anywhere from 24-27. I usually say she’s around 14, and he’s 22. I know that’s extremely unlikely, as that would make him 7 when he was Incrediboy, but whatever. Early 20’s is my favorite age group
Mmmm…I always saw Vi as 13, and Buddy as 25. But anyway…
We all have pairings we love, but to me, splitting married couples is a sin. It just is.
I tend toward canon unless there are no canon pairings or it’s really, REALLY boring or I absolutely despise one of the characters. Granted, I really don’t like Mirage, but I have a personal grudge against guys like Tony. I could fight tooth and nail for Synlet but I’ve given my two cents on that on another thread and I don’t want to turn it from a couples thread to an Arkie rant about Synlet thread so I’ll just leave it at this short synapsis.
Supervillains have a tendency to escape death in superhero movies/comics, no matter how unbelievable. This is a kid who made rocket boots at eight-ish. I think it would take more to kill him, personally. And as we know, he’s very driven by revenge…
Violet’s open to interpretation. Is she happyskippyland now? What if Tony dumps her and she goes back to her old reclusive self, despising her powers? What if she started sympathizing with villains because she felt like an outcast herself?
That’s the basic idea behind most Synlets. It’s not as believable as canon, but it doesn’t interfere with any huge canon pairings that are still together by the end of the movie (read: Bob and Helen) so I think it’s really neat. That, and it’s my two favorite characters together. :3
I see why people find Tony boring, I just don’t like change. Anyway, I always just assumed he died and Mirage lived a long, healthy, miserable life alone. 
I’m a little more comfortable since I know why everyone’s so wound up in Synlet, though.
That made me giggle. XD I like the concept of her living a long miserable life in the middle of nowhere or something. I’m glad you’re more comfortable with it, too. I’m also glad that people don’t totally flame me for it here.

I’m glad you’re more understanding of it now Virginia, even if you don’t like the pairing. I know Bob and Helen will alway be the number one pairing for you No one should ever split them up, they’re so great together. Like peas and carrots, peanut butter and jam, and Batman and the Joker, they just belong together. And yes, Mirage can go get stranded on a desert island. Not Nomanisan, but another island, one that’s not so nice. Maybe the one from Cast Away, but she can’t take a volleyball with her.

I usually dont really look up fanfiction YD because if there is anything that I created in my head about the stories or whatever that isnt what i created i get upset YDDD like whenever Toy Story 3 came out i looked up fanfiction for Buzz and Jessie because i wanted more romance from them YDD but then there are times when you run across things like Woody and Dolly _ and your like Whaaaaaaaaat?!? YDDD so ya i usually avoid looking up fanfiction because i get upset easly. (Fan art is usually the same too)
To me i know theres a chance i will see something i dont like so i either dont look or i gotta suck it up YD

Again, I’m not against Synlet. I don’t care. Some of the stories are bad and confusing, but the pairing is fine with me.

Toy Story canon just really shouldn’t be messed with, in my opinion. They’re toys. I mean, come on. It’s just… yeah.
Exactly!! They’re toys, and alive or not, toys have no genatalia. You can’t reproduce if you don’t have that.

Yeah you’re right. I still adore the Jessie/Buzz pairing though but Toy Story canon is just stupid.

I wasnt really a big fan of Bo Peep in Toy Story I remember watching it and thinking that I wanted there to be a sequel where Woody finds a romance <3 Who knows maybe he will find someone if there is a Toy Story 4 LOL <3
