yep its that time again…bring out the jerseys, the beer, and the cheerleaders (yeh right. In winter, at Florida)(well at least it isn’t New York)

The Arizona Cardinals (YAH!!!) have officially beaten the Philidelphia Eagles to clinch their first superbowl birth in Arizona history. The other team (Pittsburg or Baltimore) will be decided very shortly.

But for all Football fans out there…how about those Cards huh? :sunglasses:

Arizona is the ultimate underdog state…

If you were an analyzer of sports (which you aren’t) which matchup would you like to see and the winner of that matchup.

I want Arizona to win (although they are one of the best, not the best offensivive teams in the NFL). I really do not like the Steelers.

Agreed. I really dislike the Steelers and my team resides in the NFC and since they never make it to the Super Bowl, I generally just always root for the NFC team (unless it’s Dallas.) Soooo GO CARDS! I’m thinking this will be a pretty good match-up…I’d like to see how Pitt’s D handles Larry Fitzgerald. That man can catch anything thrown his way!

Well, I am really unhappy that Pitsberg won the Super Bowl. However, that game will go down in history as one of the greatest Super Bowls ever played. In addition, my family and I had a little contest that I won 100 bucks out of it.

Congratulations Steelers fans…your team has won the super bowl.

Here are mine;
1-Great job guys…you cardinals showed the world that nobody can call a game before they see it. This game was supposed to be the worst game ever and you guys proved them wrong.
2-Great job Warner…MVP FOR ME!!! You did the best you could and left the rest to God. He gave you the touchdown but gave the win to Pitt. PLEASE COME BACK NEXT YEAR!!! :wink:
3-Steelers…nice job on winning this game…rothelsberger did a great job in the last 2 minutes and won the game for you guys.
4-Steelers…work on your sportsman like conduct please…3 conduct fouls in the last quarter really made me bad for you guys. It ruined you in my eyes…and forever more i will be affected by your 3 personal unsportsman like conduct fouls.
5-Larry Fitzgerald…man what can i say…they should have gone to you a little earlier.

Congratulations to the Cardinals and the Steelers…you both gave us the best super bowl i have ever seen.

I was rooting for Arizona throughout the whole game. But Pittsburgh kept stelaing it at the end of each half of the game!

Although my main hat gets tipped to The boss for putting in an absolutely stunning half time show.

Perfect half time show for what was perhaps one of the most exciting super bowls i’ve seen. And to think i had written it off earlier in the day…

I was hoping Arizona, but their defense completely collapsed at the end of the game. What a shame.

Love that Bruce Springsteen camera/crotch collision though.

Haha, yes the Springsteen halftime show was awesomeeeee…way better than last year’s lamefest! The game was pretty boring for the first 3 quarters (save for the 100yd TAINT) but the fourth quarter was great…well, except for the outcome since I was rooting for the Cards. Their D totally let them down. Poor Warner - I was pulling for him, but good on Big Ben for that rather impressive game-winning drive…

My mom grew up in Pittsburgh, so she was cheering for the Steelers. I was excited about the commercials and the halftime show.

I knew the STeelers were going to win the Superbowl. Kurt Warner is an old man, can’t keep up with the young athletes. :slight_smile:

I’m just not a big fan of Warner… At all.

CMB: Boy, I don’t know about you, but you are dead wrong about one thing. Sure Kurt Warner is a aging veteran, but he did keep up with the young guys. In fact, Kurt Warner helped the Cards go to the Super Bowl. In fact, most of the young atheltes couldn’t keep up with him. Kurt Warner is an amazing player who is soon to be in the Hall Of Fame.
