I’m sure some of you have already received surveys to fill out about your experience here at Pixar Planet. As a result, many of you have been asking whether or not the surveys are legitimate.
To the best of my knowledge they are. I received one myself and am quite intrigued by some of the questions they ask. I want you all to know that the survey is in no way affiliated with Pixar Planet or the Brain Trust. Nor are they affiliated with Pixar or Disney.
Remember, these surveys are NOT anonymous so if you do choose to fill it out it will be associated with your user name. No personal questions have been asked and will not be asked. I encourage everyone to report abuses of this to me and as always, never answer anything you’re not comfortable with.
The rest is up to you. I know I’ll be filling mine out tonight! =D
Thank you for addressing this issue, Dash. I take it that you are refering to a PM sent by a certain member by the name of Steven. I did receive one of those surveys as well and, frankly, was on the verge of pressing the “delete” button. I’m glad I refrained from doing that. Heh.
Seems as if I’ll be exercising my fingers upon the keyboard tonight…!
Whoever has the survey please send me a copy or post it up here, please.
I want to see what the buzz is about but the author seems to have neglected a few people.
martini833: In the message it said it was sent to me because I’m a frequent poster- not entirely true but I have a high post count. So my assumption is he sent it out to anyone who had about 1000 or more posts.
Strange, since the guy isn’t even affiliated to Pixar Planet. Who does he think he is? Sorry about that. But again, can somebody post it up so I can see?
Absolutely not, this survey is prepared an administered by the group that has chosen to do so. They selected specific people for specific reasons. If you didn’t get selected - tough luck - deal with it.
Harsh…
I just wanted to see it…
Sounds like you’re in a bad mood, I guess I’ll disregard the rudeness.
P.S. If it’s so exclusive and you don’t want ‘‘others’’ to see then why’d you post about it and say it’s so intreguing?
Yes you will disregard it, because I don’t take kindly to established members that think they have the right to talk down at our guests on the site and question their methods when they were good enough to give us this opportunity. Surveys are strategically and scientifically prepared and distributed documents. Learn to keep your nose out of other people’s business.
I said sorry about my remark, and I said that because I remember PV hates when members make Pixar Planet things without the association of the staff (i.e. PP MySpace)
I don’t feel very established
If it’s not my business why is it on a public forum?
If you didn’t want “others” to know then the least you could’ve done was not to post how “intriguing” it is!
Gah… and i was having a good day.
I guess after this it’ll be hard to disregard.
I don’t want a sorry - I want people to stop whining about petty stuff around here (refers to more than just survey).
Then all the more reason you should’ve kept your mouth closed
It’s not on a public forum. This thread is a message informing members that there is a survey going around and what it’s about. What they do with it is up to them and who it goes to is up to the survey’s administrator.
btw - Don’t ever mistake this as a “public” forum. It is my site at the end of the day and who can and cannot come is of my choosing. i just choose to open it to the public.
Also, you should probly learn now not to argue with the owner (and this goes for every aspect of the net and life for that matter) because you just can’t win. There’s a point where you just take a step back and realize you’ve overstepped your bounds, you were corrected, and you just need to let it go.
I got one, and I wasn’t sure what it was about so I thought I’d check here first. I will probably fill it out when I have enough time to give thoughtful answers. I think the survey was given out to people who post a lot, post frequently, contribute to the conversation, and are regular members here as of recently.
martini: I’m not saying that you aren’t any or all of the above, though. I don’t know why you didn’t get a survey, but don’t take it personally. And they probably wouldn’t want people who didn’t get a survey to view it anyway, otherwise they would have made it a public survey, no?
