Heheh. I take it that The Star Swordsman likes 'em…
Very nice graphics, rachel! I love the simplicity of each signature – they work fine as they are without looking too “busy”, as the simple text alone conveys a/the message.
Nice work!

Exactly as Mitch said- simple, but sweet. You’ve managed to catch some really good shots of Violet, especially. Nice work, rachel!
Haha, that’s probably the most emotional TSS has ever been on the forums.
Thanks, lizardgirl and Mitch. Simple is my style. Heh.
The Star Swordsman - Ha ha! You make me laugh, TSS. But I’m glad you like these signatures. Good luck with you MV. =)
lizardgirl: Please tell me you feel the fluffiness when you see those beautifully captured moments.
rachel: Thanks a lot. I owe ya big time now.
We all feel the fluffiness, TSS. We all do. =)
And consider those graphics a gift to you, because of all the feedback you graciously give me, one of which is not reciprocated in your favour enough, but I’m working on it. I might see if I can come up with some more, but we’ll see.
They’re neat ! Great job rachel…
Well, if you got any more, I can’t wait for them!
Thanks, Pixar.rocks. =)
I’ll try, TSS.
Yes, I’ve been bitten by the WALL•E bug… it’s just such a treat and the ending of that film really moves me. So I thought a change would be in order. I’ve had my ‘Linguini Love’ avatar for, well, ever since I joined here, but a change is as good as a holiday so I thought this new image of WALL•E with make-up on would make for an amusing and eye-catching avatar (it was one of the funniest parts of the trailer when I first saw it.) Just to preserve it, here’s my old avatar:
And here’s my new avatar…
…and signature:
The Axiom in space is one of the most visually beautiful scenes, IMO. I’m using the signature as more of a place holder until I can get my hands on a good quality copy of the movie. There’s a signature I’m just itching to make, but you’ll see it in due time. This is a cropped scan from the Disney Classic Storybook Collection of WALL•E.
Oh wow rachel. I was so used to your old avatar. Well, I like your new one, along with your new siggy as well.
Yeah, i was so used to the old one… It took me some time to see that it was you, i still like it though…
Thank you, The Star Swordsman and Pixar.rocks. =)
Yeah, the new avvie takes some getting used to… it even jarred me a little bit, but I really like it and seeing WALL•E with make-up on is a bit of a smile inducer.
You are welcome rachel.
Just posting my latest sig here. Not my most favourite, but I don’t hate it… I was hoping to get a hold of some nicer looking text. But on the upside, I really like the caption.
Don’t get too used to this siggie though, because I’ll be debuting my batch of Halloween signatures next week. I can’t wait to wear one of them! =)
I love your siggy, rachel! And even though I’d been away, I was so used to your old avatar that I forget it’s you. But we all need a change sometime. I thought I was going to stay permanent but I needed a change of pace, and something Halloween-esque.
You ought to try out picnik.com, especially if you want some pretty fonts (they’ve got a good handful.) That’s how I made my sig, pretty much, except for the fading in-between the two pictures. I used Gimp for that, which you can download for free. It takes a while to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it can work wonders.
Both your avatar and your siggy look terrific, rachel!
I gotta admit, like others have said before me, I was really used to your old avatar. But I like the new one as well.
Excellent new siggy rachel. I love how the words came from Hello Dolly. The text looks dazzling as well. I like it.
How do you put these onto your sig…
By the way those are great…do you mind me picking from them?
FONY - Heh. Yeah, I bet a lot of people had to do a double-take because I had my avatar for such a long time beforehand. Glad you like the new one, though, thanks. Thanks for the Gimp and fonts suggestion, too. I have never quite figured out how to make the fonts fade on Photoshop, so I’ll try that program out! =)
bright dot-dasher - Thanks for the compliment, much appreciated. =)
TSS - Thanks, dude. I was hoping someone would get the “POYSC” reference.
Al-Bob - You mean how do I put text onto my graphics? Personally, I use Adobe Photoshop, but you could even use Microsoft Paint if you wanted. Or you can download Gimp, which is free, as FONY told me. It’s a lot better than Paint. Yeah, sure thing. You can wear any of my signatures that I’ve posted in this thread, go ahead. Thanks for asking, too.
