Any fans here? It’s relatively new, the episode number shown so far isn’t very high (only 20 episodes so far have been ordered) but it seems relatively interesting. The style of the cartoon would almost make you think it’s something a bit more immature but while I’ve only seen a few episodes (the first and two much later ones). It seems pretty interesting in a sense even if the ‘Titan’ is like a combination of Power-Rangers and Transformers.
Includes also a relationship involving [spoil]a human girl and a robot[/spoil]. Which I actually like in its own way. It was the episode that set that ship afloat plus a further episode I’ve also watched though apart from the first episode so I haven’t got a full view yet. I haven’t actually seen her be ‘mean’ yet for myself bar the beginning of the ‘launching’ of the relationship episode (it involves something simple- [spoil]tutoring, which is kind of better than a typical saving/rescue thing for me because[/spoil]it makes it cuter even if it’s a bit strange), but still I like what I’ve seen so far.
I quite liked the Ballad of Scary Mary myself mostly though.

I don’t think this will become a favourite for years to come like Gargoyles or Justice League Unlimited or Avatar: TLA. But it seems relatively entertaining and who knows with more episode viewings it might grab me further.
I love this show. And it has some great action scenes. But I also love the characters. IMO, the best episode of season one was the episode that showed the backstory on Lance, and how it showed why he was the way he is today. It was so hearbreaking to me. I haven’t seen the new episode from the new season yet. It’s saved in my DVR! I can’t wait to watch it. How did you feel about the cheerleader trying to seduce Octus with that dance during the tutoring secession last season mentalguru? It caused quite a controversy with the fans of the show. I thought it was kind of hot!
Oh man. I just managed to watch all the episodes I didn’t get a chance to see.
I am impressed. Good job CN for running it and kudos to the creator! Keep this show running up and hopefully get more than the planned 20 episodes if possible!
And with the ‘dance’ scene in ‘Lessons of Love’? At first I was like ‘what the heck is she doing? OH. Oh. Well she sure as heck knows how to uh, move. Man it’s kind of weird since he’s a [spoil]robot[/spoil] though’ but then she [spoil]slid the paper in that suggestive way and Newton just said ‘NO.’ bluntly and I laughed[/spoil]. It was more of a funny moment to me overall. And I thought it was cute- in a way [spoil]Octus/Newton[/spoil]is good for her because as a [spoil]robot[/spoil] those sort of thoughts wouldn’t be what’s flying in his head on meeting her or anything. He can like her as a person first.
Granted if I was to give a viewer rating I’d say this show is more ‘PG’ then ‘U’. Nothing graphic, but it also has some emotional punching moments and to be honest- you wouldn’t think it would be like that from the style of animation. It’s not bad animation far from it, but still it’s a simple style. (LOVE the episode involving the dreams and fears as well as the one involving the ‘Fortress of Deception’.). I kind of am a bit annoyed at their neighbour though- if she can’t train a big dog to behave she shouldn’t have one let alone thing it’s smart to have him over for ‘play’. I’ve been a lot of big dogs which don’t act like that. Because they are TRAINED.
This show definitly has potential though. And when it’s funny, it’s FUNNY.

In any case it was this AMV of the relationship I just discussed by a fan which drew me to the show just a couple of days ago (obviously spoilers guys if you haven’t seen it). I love the song used you see and I was like ‘what is that?’ to the clips. And it was great if short:
In any case it’s a cute episode and almost seems reminisent to me (though without the romance). I kind of helped a friend out with science once (just studying with her) and she thought herself stupid even though she never asked me to do her work either- but that idea in of itself was stupid in its own way she was great at languages unlike me and she just struggled with science and maths- but she could do it. She got her As and A stars in languages, and I in science and maths- just how it worked.
She ended up getting Bs dragging it up from the Ds she had in science - same with me and languages really in fact in the end. Thanks partially to her and my dad. Basically I think in the end we were proudest of what she got in science and maths (Bumped up a grade) and me in Spanish even though we did better elsewhere.
Because Arjen Lamé (cartoonist ‘theartrix’ on deviantART) urged me to watch it, I figured it had to be good. I’ve seen about 4~5 episodes now, but I’m kinda ‘meh’ about it. It’s sort of entertaining to watch, but I’m not very enthusiastic about it… obviously.
