Man, a new trailer in August would be super fantastic! Especially if it shows what the actual film is like, which is what I’m hoping the teaser/first trailer didn’t do. A snippet or two of Menken’s songs wouldn’t be bad, either.
Oh yes, I NEED to hear some of the music. But seriously, were they just trying to over hype PATF or something? They had those “top secret reports” out in late June, and PATF came out later in the year than this one! I mean, sorry, person-from-Disney if you think I’m being too demanding, but I’m really excited for the film and need more!

They’re all snippets and tiny bits from the movie in rough/in-completed animation format, but it’s looking AMAZING so far. I’m positive that everything is going to look absolutely stunning and breathtaking when the animation is actually complete. <3

Could somebody, in as short as possible a manner, explain why they’re using CGI instead of the cel shading I was excited for?
You too, huh? Well the other members have been saying that it was getting to be too expensive and that they were taking too long figuring out the look of the film and kept John Lasseter waiting, but other than that I haven’t heard much that’s official unless I haven’t really been looking. I was disappointed also, but I think I’m at least trying my best to get over it.
I also have to say that those rats sort of looked like they came out of Ratatouille.

OMG OMG OMG. I almost died when I saw that video! That one scene where Flynn is galloping across the bride with Maximus? That looked amazing even with the rough animation! And I totally love the parts where she has the flowers in her hair made her look so pretty :3 This totally put me over the top for wanting to see this film. Like SRSLY. I agree with Rac_Rules, I’m sure that it’ll be a wonderful romantic scene!

This film was always intended to be in CGI from the start, and any other sources claiming otherwise were completely ill-informed. Even Glen Keane said and I quote: “I really believe there is something really unique and wonderful that we can accomplish by doing this film in CG.”
And that video I posted just now didn’t even have completed animation in it. Did you watch the featurette queen_of_painting posted a page back instead? There are some footages/test shots that actually look and appear to have a water-colored/painted look, like with the forests, trees and the castle. I don’t know if this will make it into the final look of the film or not, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Omg, I was just about to point that out. I totally agree with you, I love how Rapzy’s hair is braided with the flowers and all, she looks so pretty; but hey, she’s always been beautiful. <3 Flynn is one lucky bastard, lol. xDDD

a featurette and a poster IN THE SAME WEEK!?!?! I’m totally in heaven. It’s not the best poster, not that “magical”, but hey, it could have been worse 
I do like how it makes it a little more like an “adventure film”.
Actually not a bad poster. But why is the logo so small?!
Only odd thing I find about the poster is that “Disney” isn’t put above the logo, cause growing up with Disney films I was always used to seeing it written above the film title every time (as “Disney”, “Walt Disney”, or even “Disney/Pixar”). This kind of confirms though that the characters are just going to be CGI, but I’m done arguing about that.
I know right? like really, but I guess the hair is kinda a dead giveaway xDD
Well, that can always be fixed with a little Photoshop.
