Yep! Who would have thought of making her sidekick a chameleon? Not me.

Well in the test footage it looked like it was a squirrel. Maybe we should be glad though. A chameleon seems more unique compared to the animals more commonly seen in fairy tales.
Here’s what I liked about the trailer.
- A surprisingly beautiful female lead.
- The “they just can’t get my nose right” gag.
- Being pummeled mercilssly by locks of hair. THAT was creative.
Everything else, though, just looked bland and generic. It could just be a problem with the trailers.
I’ll definately be looking foward to this movie for one reason: Alan Menken.

Danachii- in that photo it looks like she’s saying “HAY Gurlfrienddd!” xDD That a really cool picture though, I wonder how many different colors Pascal will end up being in the final film?

Menken and Ashman did the music for my favorite film ever, Little Shop of Horrors (with original ending).

Well, Menken did the MUSIC for the Dentist song. Howard Ashman, writer of the Little Shop script and director of the original production, wrote the words.

EDIT; Btw I found this article just now while I was browsing around. It’s pretty interesting~ the directors talk about Tangled and how they got involved with it. 
EDIT 2; Ugh, I need to stay away from Disney’s facebook page the next time I go out hunting for news and updates on Tangled. I swear every time I read peoples comments over there, it really makes me want to pull my hair out.
Is it the normal “WAAH its in CGI Walt is spinning in his grave!” people? I mean, come ON. I’d rather it be in 2D too, but you could just chillax and appreciate the beautiful CGI animation instead of whining.
And yeah, I’d be kind of sad if I didn’t have this board to obsess over this movie with other people. Last time with PATF I had my best friends, but they aren’t nearly as hyped about this movie as I am. We usually see Disney and Harry Potter movies together, you see, but this time they’re opening so close to each other. I’m the only one where Disney > Harry Potter, so most of the conversations on the matter go like this.
Me: Bad news. Tangled and Deathly Hallows open in the same month.
Friend: Darn…
Me: Which one will we all see?
Friend: Deathly Hallows…
Me: But…I need to see Tangled with you guys!
Friend: Sorry Rachel, but I’m a bit more of a Harry Potter fangirl than a Disney fangirl.
Me: GAH!
Then I came up with the idea of having a double feature, buying tickets for both movies back to back. But that would be pretty expensive.
Did you guys hear that the new trailer will be out with Step Up 3D next Friday?

Yeah unfortunately, that’s exactly what most people there complain about. sighs What’s worse is that a lot of people are saying things like “2D is soulful and artistic, while CGI isn’t” or “CGI completely cheapens the movie.” It’s really annoying not to mention completely untrue.

EDIT; Another update. These images were just released today.
It looks absolutely beautiful, and so romantic! <3 I have a feeling that this is going to be a really ‘awwwww’-ish and mushy love scene between them in the film, though it also kind of reminds me of “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid, but oh well, lol. It still looks extremely gorgeous!
And this probably sounds really OT and random, but I love how Rapunzel’s hands are so much more tinier compared to Flynn’s. It’s SO cute.
