As I’ve been saying all the time, Pascal has to be one of my favourite animal sidekicks. I wonder if they’ll release one for Maximus and what his tagline will be (‘For Sale’? Interested Parties Please Contact Flynn Rider XD).
The 90 second promo is the best yet. Great use of orchestral in the beginning (I hope it’s from the soundtrack) and more new footage to a nice guitar beat. And no Pink number, thank Thor.
I love the animators’ video too. I swear, ‘Haokun Liang’ looks like one of my mates maybe a few years down the road. Adam Dykstra, Jason Figliozzi, Adam Green (he looks like he’s about to explode!), Alli Sadegiani, Ron Smith (‘tapping *ss’ XD), Ted Newfield, Amy & Tony Smeed (a married couple on the team?), Glen Keane (the master with his pouting lip), Clay Kaytis (can anyone lipread what he said?), Lino Di Salvo (topless? XD), Dany Piexe, John Wong and Patrick Osborn are my favourites, but the rest are pretty cute too.
With this much talent in one building, a few are bound to go crazy.

If you check out the official site now, Pascal has been added to the characters gallery with a bio and neat wallpaper! I wonder what the line, “This supportive and encouraging companion’s true colors [spoil]just might hold a key to unlocking a royal mystery[/spoil]” means.
Rac: Laugh out loud, I must find bootleg copies of these rip-offs just to see how bad they get (Is ‘The Frog Prince’ 2D-animated?).
I just discovered this book whose plot synopsis sounds eerily similar to this film… although we don’t know the exact details surround Mother Gothel’s imprisoning of Rapunzel in the Disney film, the other bits seem pretty similar. Could this be another Monsters Inc/Lori Madrid case? What do you think, divine coincidence, or ‘artistic osmosis’?
I personally don’t have a problem with it, as I have stated many times in various posts, I believe ‘original story’ is an oxymoron. It’s how you tell it. But I’m still interested to hear what Disney has to say.
Man, I actually saw some of “What’s Up” before… I think the whole thing’s on YouTube if it hasn’t been taken down already. They’re so awful, I need to see The Frog Prince and Ratatoing.
Yep, they’re awful. Ratatoing is just as bad. (Yes, I’ve seen it) But I need to see the Frog Prince, too.
And who knows what they might do with Tangled. We might be seeing “Rapunzel’s Hair” or something like that later this year.
Rapunzel and Flynn made their first appearance at the parks today (Epcot!) Their meet and greet area (formally Belle’s Storytime) isn’t completed yet so until then they’ll be at Epcot. Picture courtesy of Stitch Kingdom. Very interesting.
That new promo vid was amazing, thedriveintheatre! I especially loved that part with the mime. It was SO funny. So far I’m loving all the characters just so much, especially Pascal.
And that actor who plays Flynn in that photograph definitely looks A LOT like Flynn (not to mention he looks really cute too). There’s no doubt that even Rapunzel looks absolutely gorgeous in it. <3
EDIT; Somebody also spotted Flynn and Rapunzel at Epcot today, and they were able to get them on video!
About Belle’s area, it’s my understanding it’s all blocked off right now as part of reconstruction, and there are pictures where you can see Rapunzel’s tower peeking out over the walls.
I was on a huge hunt for anything about Rapunzel and Flynn’s first day this morning and also found these videos, I was so busy spamming Twitter and Facebook with them I forgot to share here! Shame.
