At 00:18, I just realized how small Rapunzel is in comparison to Flynn! Did Rapunzel land on Flynn at 00:31? And I also just noticed how Maximus stifles a laugh before ‘exploding’ at the end.
Does anyone know the music used in this featurette? It’s the same as the one in the beginning of the Land of the Lost trailer.
I’ve been following this forum for a little while now, though this is my first time posting. I’m really happy to find such civilized and couretous people who don’t automatically just start bashing the film.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that I went to Downtown Disney yesterday and I scoured the entire place for a hint of anything Tangled. Unfortunately, the only thing I could find was the Rapunzel doll and even she was hidden in this corner, kind of obscured by all the other princesses. (They have an entire section of store dedicated to nothing but princesses.) I went looking for the Lantern Scene ornament because they have a store dedicated to Christmas there but alas they did not have it. No pins either.
I died a little on the inside but I’m not giving up. I’m going back to Orlando in a month and hopefully I can stop by and see if they’ve updated their stock.

Ugh, I was already mad at the Disney Store. My GS troop went all the way up to NYC in June, and the #1 thing we wanted to do was go to the Disney store. Yeah, it was apparently changing locations, and was not open at all. AHH.
Wednesday’s promo is hilarious. All the newer stuff is so much more appealing than the original things being released. The second movie trailer especially got me pretty amped up to see the movie. I can’t believe how fast November 24th is going to come…
Those look nice but as a guy, I can’t say I want those XD If they made an action figure out of Flynn, THAT I’d buy. Heck, I’d buy a figure of Rapunzel too

What do you guys think of Rapunzel and Flynn as a team?
That’s what I love about Flynn and Rapunzel: They work together. One doesn’t carry the other or someone doesn’t pull thier weight. They’re equally matched and it’s just such great chemistry.
That’s why I’m so in love with them as a couple, they just compliment each other. 
Even though it’s not fully trucally animated, Im happy Disney is going back to 2D. The Lion King is one of there best and it’s 2D. 2D is better for Disney and 3D is better for Pixar.
Thanks DisneyMovies, though I would like to mention that the localisation feature is pretty annoying (is there an option for International fans to see American content or ‘pick their country’ instead of being sent to their local version by default?).
For those outside the U.S., you can view the Rapunzel featurette on the official site or Youtube. The only thing I didn’t like was the ‘iris pop-up’ at 0:09 for the “That’s a lot of hair” quote, which I found distracting. But I did like the ‘Interests Include’ montage (Pascal in the ‘Ventriloquy’ shot was hilarious!).
There’s also some neat character bios for 'Punzel and Flynn (and you can see future characters ‘blacked out’, though Mother Gothel is strangely absent) and the ‘hair transitions’ between pages always make me laugh.

In fact, I’ve been doing the same exact thing as you xD. I’m totally super excited to get my hands on some merchandise! In fact, right now I’m saving up money for a snowglobe, a limited edition doll, or some other Tangled collectible 
I haven’t seen the toys yet, and wow do they look amazing. I’m really surprised! Like a lot of you said, Disney Princess dolls usually look like Barbies. I might have to get one of these…

woody: Yup, DisneyMovies has mentioned it’s on the U.S. Disney site, and I posted a link to the official movie site and Youtube video already.
But I agree with you that, yeah… they should really market it as a ‘action-adventure’ or ‘romantic-comedy’ or something to attract anybody above 12.
Action-adventure, okay. But if it’s a RomCom, I won’t see it. Yuck. 
It might attract my brother and anyone in the 12-19 crowd.
Last time I saw this trailer was with some LOGawful bad Dutch voiceacting. I mean, they casted some abundant celebrities in the main roles. DO NOT WANT. D8
I want to see this one anyway though. I think I’ll check it out. I don’t think I’ll go to the cinema… (I don’t wanna be seen watching a princess movie ._. TPATF is an exception, but…)
Unless you have a friend or family member working at the cinema, who is gonna “see you watching a princess movie”, Badger? Nobody knows you! And if someone you know happens to be there, you’ve got company anyway!
I’d love to see the Dutch sub. I like listening to the voices of characters in different languages, it’s really interesting.*

Here’s another vid that I thought was pretty cool. It’s basically a compilation of short clips of all the crew and animators who worked on Tangled. Some of the faces and gestures that they make when they get introduced are SO funny. (btw you’ll also notice some of the concept arts from the film that we saw in the background when you watch it )
