New Update! If you go to disney.go.com/index now, there’s a new video on Maximus Disney uploaded. Naturally, you’d have to skim through the Tangled sweapstakes video to watch it, but it’s worth it. 8D Maximus is SO funny in it! (Hopefully someone will upload this video onto Youtube soon.)

And also why do I have a feeling that Vídeo Brinquedo is going to rip-off this movie too? Then again, if they did, it honestly wouldn’t surprise me. :confused:

You can also watch Maximus’ video and read his bio on the official site. I’m surprised that he was [spoil]initially meant to capture Flynn, and is now forced to work alongside him in his crime caper[/spoil]! “Tough-cop” indeed, I hope he doesn’t go easy on Rider. :smiley:

I personally wouldn’t mind Video Briquendo doing a rip-off. I’m sure their sales would barely make a dent in Disney’s profits, and I see it as a poor-man’s spoof of the films I love, so I’m looking forward to it. I watched Ratatoiing the other day and while it was utterly frustrating at parts, the hilarious animation in some scenes (such as the ones involving the cat) more than made up for its banality! I can’t wait to watch Little Panda Fighter next! :laughing:

Of course! And…if you didn’t already LOVE Zach and Mandy, I think these two interviews from our press junket over the weekend might seal the deal :slight_smile: I don’t think we could have picked two better actors (and people) to play the hero and heroine in our 50th feature.

Just a reminder, guys - the two links that DisneyMovies posted from the Disneyland press junket DO contain spoilers, particularly Mandy’s panel. Not so much with Zach’s, but Mandy does give away quite a bit of things from the film in her answers. So unless you actually WANT to get spoiled, I wouldn’t recommend watching either of them.

But of course, this is just my own silly advice for people who are sensitive to spoilers, that’s all. :slight_smile:

On the other hand, I found two vids that are completely spoiler free and are safe to watch. It contains recent interviews with Mandy Moore (Rapunzel) and Donna Murphy (Mother Gothel). Enjoy! :wink:

Haha, YES! I knew Zach was a Disney/Pixar fan, but I didn’t know he knew so much about them, so it was definitely a nice surprise for me. :smiley: And I have to agree, I’m so glad Disney picked these two for the voice actors of the two main protagonists. I wouldn’t have wanted it to be anyone else.

Sorry if anyones talked about this YD but i soo think their will be singing in the movie YDDD I know of at least 2 times Rapunzel will sing and ya i pretty much know what happens in the movie =.= ok so sue me but i was lookin through a childrens book and ya YDDD even the damned color books show the whole story it kinda pissed me off YD i mean usually they arent so throrow (spelling i know) with the things they show. Cause i remember looking through Princess and the Frog books and they barely said anything >> anyways the movie is a must see and i know imma cry YD but i cry for everything so dont be alarmed Y3 it looks REALLY good and i can’t wait to see it
Anyway about the singing i think at there will be at least 1 full song that she sings other than that i have no idea YD

I don’t know about anyone else, but she’s the first Disney villian to make me feel really uneasy and uncomfortable, especially [spoil]when she pinches Rapunzel’s cheek and goes, “Just kidding. You’re so adorable, I love you so much darling.” You can just tell how extremely fake and dishonest that sounds[/spoil]. But I guess if it made me feel uncomfortable, then it means that Disney is doing something right and that Gothel is going to be a really convincing and a dynamic villian. :stuck_out_tongue: Can’t wait!

I agree with you, Danachii! She is going to be my favorite villain, aside from Maleficent. She definitely made me feel uncomfortable during that video. Only 25 more days, yayyy!

I really like Maximus and Mother Gothel’s videos! I like Maximus’ “tough-guy-cop” personality, and I can see he become Flynn’s ‘best enemy’. :stuck_out_tongue: Mother Gothel’s end-montage was also pretty creepy, and I think she’s a pretty enigmatic villain whose alliance will be tough to decipher. I’d be surprised if Disney decides to have her redeem herself (cos’ I have a feeling she’s not ‘all-evil’), but we’ll have to see the movie to find out! :stuck_out_tongue:

I know that this might seem like the strangest thing to say, but I actually really really like Mother Gothel. I’m not saying that the things she does are right and all, but I just love hoe evil and sarcastic she is. I usually don’t really like any villains, but she definitely has some potential!

Just watched a few videos of this for the first time…It looks promising! The main characters are surprisingly un-annoying. Disney music also has a great appeal. I’m a little disappointed with the main villain (referring to yourself as a bad guy? Really?) but aside from that, I’m pleasantly surprised!
