Tangled

^ It certainly makes sense, doesn’t it?

Oh man, now I gotta go write a fanfic about that. DX

I saw it…it was very good.

(Sorry for a blunt response, but I don’t have time for a long review.)

I saw it last night after waiting 4 days cause i was in Mexico DY man i knew basicly what was ganna happen and i knew i was ganna cry but MAN i CRIED ^^‘’‘’
God the music was wonderful i want the soundtrack so bad… Luckly i was able to atleast download “I See The Light” Don’t worry though as soon as i get my Christmas shopping out of the way (DY) Imma go buy that soundtrack!! YDDD i already looked up the lyrics for the Healing Incataion and i plan on having it memorized by the next time i go and watch the movie. (Hopefully i’ll go this weekend) YDD

Wow!! You’re like a super-fan, khstar!! Glad you loved the movie. I wantsta see it so bad. :shake:

I am curious: when will this be released in the UK?

(Gah, too many films to see when I’ve work on, HP 7 pt 1, Megamind, and this… eventually).

Janurary 18th.

It’s sucks the UK always has to wait longer. But for the new Winnie the Pooh movie coming out next summer, it’s going to be released in the UK before the US. Which I think is pretty fair.

Hint: If you don’t have it yet, you can get the soundtrack (MP3) for 99 cents with this code:
amazon.com/gp/feature.html?i … e=GET3MP3S

Anyway, here’s a really nice article that I saw that applies to both Tangled and animation in general:
cinemablend.com/new/Rant-You … 21914.html

Thank you so much for that article Bryko. It spoke a lot of the truth. I do believe that most people are too quick to judge animated films just because they’re animated. And the whole Avatar/Pocahontas thing made me laugh, because what the author said about them was true!

I’m finally seeing this movie this weekend!!! I’m so excited.

I love this thread, but i’m avoiding it for spoilers.:frowning:

See it buddy so then you can be here! And that’s the good thing about spoiler tags, but honestly I forget sometimes. My bad!

I’m with Pizza Planet Truck. I keep meaning to check here, but immediately close the window since I’ve tried so hard to avoid any spoilers. Same way on Tumblr, too - I follow a Tangled account there and find myself skipping over most updates :frowning:

Wow - so glad that so many of you have loved the movie so far! Glad that it didn’t disappoint  Actually…pretty happy SO many people over here have given it great reception. Please keep the reviews coming - I love reading them!

O.O Thank You!!! Hopefully my mother will spare me a dollar DY And that article was amazing ^^

I want to see it so bad, but it’s unlikely.

DID YOU KNOW? According to production manager Doeri Welch Greiner, the original script was a qausi-sequel to 2007’s Enchanted (2007) and had Rapunzel turn into a squirrel and replaced by a girl in the real world.

Thank god! :unamused: BTW, my sister has watched it with her friends and she said it was awesome.

thedriveintheater: I’m sooo glad they changed that!

I also read another interesting fact. As of 2010 Tangled is the most expensive animated film of all time!

^ :open_mouth:  Wow. Well it was well worth it! I loved every second of it

Ew. I personally loved Enchanted, but a sequel? :stuck_out_tongue: Glad they didn’t go that route…

Something that occurred to me when I re-watched the film for the second time today: [spoil]I actually got the impression that Eugene might have had a really low self-esteem when he was a kid. He might have even been ignored, teased and bullied a lot, so when he masked himself as Flynn Rider, he thought that it secured his self-worth and it made him look worthy enough to get attention and be acknowledged for who he really was. But as it turns out, he wasn’t really being himself. And when Rapunzel comes into his life, you’ll notice that it’s actually not Flynn that she gets to know and fall in love with; it’s Eugene. When Rapunzel ends up calling him Eugene, he starts thinking that maybe being called by that name isn’t so bad anymore, and he finally starts gaining confidence about it. It might sound really cliched by now, but I think the message behind Flynn’s character is to always be yourself and never hide behind anything.[/spoil]

Also, I found something funny on the official Tangled website. adisney.go.com/disneypictures/tangled/#/videos/

it’s the video called Something That I Want. Pretty amusing to say the least! I especially loved the beginning part. 8D Glen Keane’s little singing sequence was funny too.
