Tangled

Oh my god BRAVE!

Alright guys, let’s get back on track!

Did anyone else find that the songs in Tangled were catchy? The one that comes to mind as catchy was the song in the pub with the Viking guys. I personally thought that Tangled was as good as the films from the Renissance along with Princess and The Frog.

Yes, I’ve Got a Dream is great!!! I used to be extremely annoyed by Mother Knows Best, but now I’m getting over that. Finally. 8D

Yeah, I didn’t like the song “Mother Knows Best” that much. It’s probably the weakest song in the entire film. Somehow, Gothel reminds me of Fairy Godmother for Shrek 2.

The King reminds me of the Burger King King.

You think “Mother Knows Best” is the weakest? I’ve never thought that. That was one of my favourite songs, actually! But I totally agree with you about Gothel being similar to the Fairy Godmother. I noticed the similarities too!

Really? I didn’t think that “Mother Knows Best” wasn’t that good of a song but thats my opinion.

Before I saw tangled I heard “I see the light” and It was so beautiful I was going to cry!

Guess it’s down to personal opinion, like most things.:unamused:

But anyway, this is for sure one of my favourite Disney movies! I didn’t really appreciate it when I first saw it in the cinema, but once I got it on Blu-Ray - I changed my mind. Love this film!

Same. When I saw the teaser last year before TS3, I wasn’t really impressed. I gave it a try a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it.

The trailers were baaad.

I hope Disney can more fairy tales like Tangled in the future. The only one that comes to mind that hasn’t been done is Hansel and Gretel. They were going to do Jack and the Beanstalk but Warner Bros beat them to it.

What about doing Shakespere again?

Totally, I was so disapointed by them.

A modernized Disney version of Taming of the Shrew would rock it. Guy likes girl. Girl’s mean and snobby. Guy tries to get girl by being clever. Only the story would have to end to fit today’s more positive view of women.

Or another Greek story, since Hercules was pretty much mythologically inaccurate? Cupid and Psyche. Cute story. Would make people laugh to see cupid in love.

Yeah, it worked with Lion King, another Greek story would be great too.

I don’t know if Disney should go this route for their future. I herd it was going to be “Mort” and “Discworld” for some of their upcoming films. Anyway, I’m glad Tangled was Disney’s first true success here in the states since “The Lion King” in 1994.

Discworld?? can they actually pull that off?

I loved the Shakespeare thing though. I didn’t notice at first, but after we studied Hamlet in school, I was like ‘Holy moly, it’s The Lion King!’ Then they did a Romeo and Juliet theme for the second. That was awesome.

I wondered that to. Wouldn’t they have to get the rights from Terry Pratchett along with Mort since they were his creations?
