Tangled

Is it sad that it still sounds good to me? 8D

You woulden’t have to smile if you were in a Mickey costume or something.

If you’re extremely good at hiding your emotions, it’s cool. If any kid were to come up to me while I’m in a pissed=off mood and a Disney costume (say, er, since I’m Asian, Mulan) and ask for a picture, I may do something that will make me lose my job…

I dunno. Even if you come into work in a bad mood, I think you can’t help but smile and get into things when you see the enthusiasm of the little kids and guests. They’re so excited to see you that it makes you feel better.

Even at my job, which isn’t nearly as fun as Disney, I get in a good mood after interacting with customers, even if I arrive feeling terrible. I suppose it’s the same as any other form of acting. I’m sure there are many days when people in plays don’t feel like coming in and playing their roles, but they get into character and stick it out for the audience. Disney characters are actors, too.

What if you have a headache? All those screaming’s kids would be annoying.

I would love love love to be a face character (Virginia, Belle would be my pick too  Then Rapunzel). I don’t ever remember screaming, in fact the guests are just so happy and chipper they add to the magic themselves. Everyone’s there to have a good time and make it magical for others

Exactly!!! Belle, then Rapunzel. <3

Now that I think about it, that would kinda be a cool job. Even though I’m somewhat scared of those people who hug you at theme parks.
I don’t know who I’d like to be, though.

I remember seeing Tangled and enjoying the heck out of it. What I enjoyed the most about this movie is that they gave Rapunzel a personality here. They didn’t give her the genetic cut and paste Princess treatment, they made actually do something. Also, I didn’t like Alan Menken’s music for this movie(but i did like :When will my life begin").

Just a question, does anyone know what Ren and Stimpy creator John K said about this movie? I remember hearing that his blog had a few posts talking about this movie, but they aren’t on his blog(I can imgaine the conversation about it may have angered a few ppl :-\). But if anyone read them. Do you remembered what he talked about it?

How come you didn’t like the score for Tangled? I personally thought that it was one of Alan Menken’s better scores.

Hey, did anyone notice that as the lanterns are being lit in the city before the boat scene, they represent Rapunzel’s hair? It’s the way they light up in sequence spreading down the street from the palace, which seems to reflect when Rapunzel’s hair slowly starts to glow when she sings. I just thought that was pretty cool. :sunglasses:

Oh my God thats so cool!

Nope, never noticed.

The score was alright, but it wasn’t anything to write home about. It was like Alan’s touch had wore itself out. After all the song “I got a dream” feels like it was left out of one of Bluth’s films from the 90’s.

I noticed that as well. Very nice touch if you ask me.

Ah, I can understand now why you didn’t care for it. I haven’t seen any Don Bluth movies so I don’t know what the music in those films are like.

^If you saw any of Bluth’s films in the 90’s(minus Anatasia since I cant comment on that film since I haven’t seen it) you’d get a good idea on what I’m talking about. I dont know what would have made Tangled’s score better in my book, but to me. It felt like it was missing something. And I cant put my finger on it

I don’t know what would of made it better either. The score just didn’t feel like some of Menken’s best like Hunchback and Beauty and the Beast.

I’m sorry, but you guys are officially weird to me now. I love Tangled’s music!!

Oh, is that so? 8D Anyway, Some of Tangled’s songs can be pretty catchy like I Got A Dream.

That one’s my favorite.
