Ted Williams

I’ll just post what I already said in the “Ideas for future Pixar actors” thread:

I’ve got to get this on here before anyone else does. This guy would kill in a Pixar film.

This man’s life has changed so dramatically in the space of only a few weeks, I believe. I’m talking about Ted Williams, a homeless man who has become an internet sensation after a man interviewed him on the street, and someone posted it on YouTube.

He has been called “The Homeless Man with the Golden Voice”.

The Cleveland Cavaliers NBA basketball team offered him a home and a job as their announcer, he has been on NBC’s Today, and is now the voice of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, as well as being officially hired by MSNBC yesterday.

He was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon yesterday, announcing before each commercial break, and introduced the guests for each segment. He was interviewed by Jimmy before the musical performance.

Here’s the interview:

What a charming man. I think I can say for all us of that we wish him nothing but the very best.

First Kraft commercial surfaces online.

The sky is the limit for this guy. He’s huge news in my state. Lots of coverage.

I’m so happy that he’s out of rock bottom and has learned from the past. I’m happy for all of his success.

However, I’d be more impressed with him if he doesn’t forget where he came from. I’m really into humanitarian work, and it would be awesome if he helped out other homeless people. Something simple like helping out at a soup kitchen to maybe even using some of his new wealth to set up a homeless shelter or help an existing one.

There are bright things in his future, but I hope he doesn’t forget those like him who don’t have golden voices!

There’s an actor named Ted Williams and a writer named Tad Williams? How am I supposed to tell them apart?
