Thanksgiving

Sweetness JF. What present do you want for your birthday/Thanksgiving?

A113- Yeah, I can imagine having a birthday near a holiday actually being a really annoying thing. It sort of spoils both your birthday and the holiday. I’ve got a friend with a birthday on Christmas Eve, and he never really feels like it’s his birthday because everyone’s always so excited about Christmas. It sort of takes away your birthday.

OK I am off to North Carolina for the Thanksgiving weekend, See you guys when I get back.

Have a good time. Well, I’m watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade . They just had the cast of the Broadway version of Young Frankenstien performing. And later tonight, The Incredibles is what I’ll be watching. Have a fantastic Thanksgiving, everyone.

I’ll be doing the same thing do every year :

*watch ‘Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade’
*eat mom’s turkey feast at around 1:30pm
*go to my nana’s house (split family)
*eat at nana’s at 4:30pm
*watch cousins be really stupid …

You’ve got a good agenda plan thought out, GLP .

We’re having turkey despite the fact we have a pet turkey. We figured it doesn’t matter because we always ate chicken when we had the silkies- matter of fact, we fed the chickens chicken. xD Nuggets, to be precise. I suppose it doesn’t matter … it’s pretty sick to see my parrots chew up chicken bones … :open_mouth:

So we might end up feeding the turkey turkey. xD

just what we need , a cannibal turkey ! lol …

Happy Thanksgiving, Pixar Planet!

Luckily I don’t hafta work today unlike last year. I’m on my way to dinner. Enjoy your turkey, dahlings.

Enjoy yourself, PV . I actually just got back from dinner, and I am full . Heheheh, oh man, I haven’t eaten like that in so long, it feels kind of nice actually. Let’s see… what did I have? Turkey, ham, cranberry sauce, rolls w/without butter, chicken strips, eclairs, root beer, water. Oh yeah, I did good this year, heheheh. Have a good time, PV .

Heh, my parents are still working on dinner  This has always been my leas-favourite part of Thanksgiving, waiting hours for everything to be cooked :stuck_out_tongue:

I ate my food 'round 1:30, 2:00 pm … which was pretty early for me but my mom had work at 3 so … yah … I’m still full. xP Let the bulldogs lick my plate though, so everyone’s happy. :d

Topic about Thanksgiving eh?

I had Brazil nuts with rice, along with yams and cranberry sauce. I didn’t have turkey, don’t like the taste :stuck_out_tongue:

My schedule went flawlessly today…

9:00AM - Woke up to watch parade 'til noon.

12:30PM - Watched Planes, Trains, and Automobiles… a family tradition.

4:30PM - Watched my Cowboys beat up on the Jets 34-3.

8:00PM - Sat down for dinner and watched The Incredibles.

All in all a perfect, great day. Had plenty of time and wasn’t rushed for anything. Lots of quality, talking time to spend with my family since I haven’t seen them in so long. Dinner was amazing with all of my mom’s best turkey and treats. Now I’m getting ready to snuggle down for a nice sleep before I get up to head to work at the D-Store on Black Friday - should be fun since I haven’t worked in 3 months! I better get my feet back under me fast!

Also got a real nice surprise in my e-mail box. A personal Thanksgiving greeting from Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp himself! And not just one of the generic ones either. =D

Oh man how I miss my turkey and cranberry :frowning:

My family and I ate our turkey at 5:30ish PM. I proceeded to trade/battle with my second cousin playing Pokémon Diamond. Shortly after, I was laying on the couch watching The Incredibles. ;-p

It was snowing when we drove home. Perfect timing for Black Friday morning. :~o

Well, I said my Thanksgiving was about the 4 F’s: Food, Football, Fun, and Family.

Food: Had a giant turkey leg, roast beef, rice, roasted marshmellows, pumpkin pie, and ice cream.

Football: Watched the Packs and the Boys trounce the other teams. I played Madden 08, and tossed the pigskin wiith my family.

Fun: Played video games, told jokes, foosball, THE INCREDIBLES (watched it three times today baby!)

Family: Watched TI with my family.

Ooh, everyone’s Thanksgivings sounded so nice! Talking about turkey is making me drool for Christmas dinner…

TSS- Three times in one day? That’s gotta be some sort of record! :stuck_out_tongue:

LG: You think that is a record? Well it isn’t for me! You have no idea!

Hah, when I bought Ratatouille, I watched it five times in a row that day :stuck_out_tongue: But I’m sure you’ve watched TI even more, TSS
