Thanksgiving

Well guys, that time of year is

almost here. What are you guys gonna do? Who are you going to see? Or who is gonn see you? Any special

plans?

Well, i got the

entire week off due to Thanksgiving holiday YAY me! Anyone else? And by week off I mean no school for a

whole week…

I too got the entire week

off. In addition to that, my relatives from the Bay Area are coming for the entire week. I plan to play with

them, talk to them, be an excellent host. Also, I will show them my Incredibles Music Videos I made. I hope they

will love it.

There is also a lot of food, football, thanking, stuff I do every year.

Well, due to budget cuts and the like, our Thanksgiving is going to be a very small one: just a turkey breast,

some cranberry sauce, mom’s excellent corn pudding, a few bottles of apple cider, apple pie and ice cream, and

maybe a few other entrees. As for the customers, it will be just me and the family, as our aunt – who was going

to come but then couldn’t – has some work to do, and we can’t really afford to have another guest in the

house…soooo… :unamused:

Yeah…it’s just the family – some “togetherness”, as you might say.

Hey, maybe we’ll earn enough dough to get the tv fixed so I can actually watch Cars

this Thursday! :stuck_out_tongue:

Our Thanksgivings used to be

huge; we used to have around twenty-eight people come over to our house every

year…until mom got sick of it. (snigger)

Oh jeez, I’m

stuck going to school tomorrow- I stayed home sick monday but I had senior pictures today and a test tomorrow. No

way I can sneak out since truancy lets up only after sixth period, and I get out after seventh so it’s not worth

it.

I’m having Thanksgiving at home, for once. I’ll most probably be working on or attempting

sculptures. I’ve got a lot of work to do. =P I don’t think I’ll eat much since anything besides soup is making

my throat hurt a lot. =P

Enlighten me- what do you actually celebrate in

Thanksgiving? Is it just giving thanks for everything, or is there anything specific?

I guess, as you can

tell, we don’t actually have Thanksgiving here. :unamused: Wouldn’t mind a week off right now, either.

I have to WORK on Thanksgiving day! I’m at work from 6:15 PM to

closing time (10:30-11:00). In other words, during dinner. :`-(

That’s why my sig says, "Enjoy

your turkey, dahlings", because I won’t be able to.

~~=oP

Poor

you PV. It is a holiday! But I can’t control the future. I hope your Thanksgiving day will be wonderful.

lizardgirl - Thanksgiving is a time when we remember why

we are thankful for the family we have and the food we share. For if the Native Americans hadn’t assissted the

Pilgrims through those cold winters of old, us Americans might not even be here today.

PixarVixen - That sucks big time. Well, I am with The Star Swordsman on

this, as well. I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, no matter what the circumstances. I wish you well.

lizardgirl- it’s

when we give thanks that the pilgrims got sick of england and decided to come here and not have a british accent

. jk  . But that is pretty mcuh why kind of and that the native americans , a.k.a indians , though i

don’t like that name , helped them with their food and they had a wonderful harvest !

that’s actually

pretty coincedental since someone in my class asked if england cellebrated england and I got to answer " no

, because there’s this girl on pixar planet (they all know what this is by now and roll their eyes ) and she’s

upset because her birthday is during our thanksgiving break and she’s upset because she has to go tgo school

that day .

It’s okay , I had to go to school for 1/2 a day .

Wow,

you guys are BLESSED with a whole week of school off??? I only got off starting today, Wednesday… and I thought

I was lucky. Heh. Oh well… at least I don’t have any homework! Except… science… fair… :open_mouth:

Already had a great Thanksgiving last month (Canada). But I wish you all a great

time!

JamieLew - Don’t feel left out – alot of kids in my Martial Arts class only get

days off starting today, too.

Aggie - Thanks! I’m glad your Thanksgiving

went well.

Update: Our oven broke down just a few hours ago. Looks like

we’ll have to borrow our neighbor’s oven for Thanksgiving…if the oven doesn’t switch back on… :stuck_out_tongue:

I can’t wait! It is finally tommorow! I’'m

gonna have so much fun!

Are any of you guys going to watch Football

Happy Thanksgiving,

everyone! I won’t be watching football, but I will be watching Cars on my dad’s

big flat screen tv…

my dad is watching football right now, so is anyone enjoying their

turkey day? gobble gobble gobble

Happy Thanksgiving! (Mike!) gobble, gobble…

I’m not sure what my plans are for today… I’m staying with a friend this week, and to be honest, plans

have changed about six times… it’s kind of frustrating.

At least it looks like I’ll be able to see

Atlanta today. I really want to see Centennial Olympic Park (Atlanta hosted the 1996 Olympics, and I’m

borderline-obsessed with the Olympics.)

CarFreak: I’m watching football to.

Go Cowboys!
