woody: Thank you!
mo: Aww, thank you! Itās so sweet you like my style. Maybe itās just one of those styles that are really fun to look atā¦?
ffdude1906: Oh, M-O is holding a motorized mop of sorts with a fluid hose attached to it. Since these are just head/torso shots, it was really hard to add a lot of the outfit details in. Yeah, I have to admit VAQ-M (Van) was really hard to come up with a design for, but I think I like it. Heās so adorableā¦!
Bahhh, I love Hans. He was probably my favorite to draw.
JustSoWall-eCrazy: Isnāt it fun to come up with names for them? Iām glad you like Bella - for some reason I thought no one was going to like her, and Iām not sure why. Maybe itās cuz most people imagine BRL-A as a guy. Maybe there are guy and girl BRL-Asā¦?
Ohh, Iāve seen your drawings, and I apologize for not commenting on them, but they are adorable! You were very creative with the names, as well!
TDIT: Thank you! I really wish I had more room to actually draw out all of their outfits in full, 'cuz it really helps express their personalities.
About the names, I donāt really knowā¦ I just thought about the way the robotic names sounded and tried putting a more human version on it. Most of the last names actually came from the names of Pixarians who worked on The Art of WALLā¢E (e.g.: Shuster, Deamer, Collins, Klocekā¦ among others). The only ones who do not have this reference are Alex OāNeill, Lina Kessler, Hans Kaufman (theyāre half-siblings!), and Van Haskell.
And yeah, I was talking with my friend once about WALLā¢E and Hello, Dolly! and we both reasoned that WALLā¢E acts almost exactly like Cornelius Hackl and EVE is a lot like Irene Molloy, in a way. So thatās where I came up with the last names for them.
Glad you guys liked them! Unfortunately, I actually thought theyād get a bit more attention over at dAā¦
My next project is going to be adorable. Iām on a WALLā¢E kick right now, so you can probably guess the happy couple I drewā¦ <3
