The Art of little_chef (and her sis)

Mitch is going to love it little chef. Really wonderfully drawn.

That’s really cute, little chef! I’m sure Mitch will love it!

That’s really great little_chef  ! Mitch is gonna LOVE IT  ! I like how you’ve drawn Renata. She definitely looks like Linguini’s mom. Great work  !

The coloring’s neat and bright but not too flashy…overall it looks splendidly cute and is such a smilemaker! I’m sure Mitch will be happy to see this special, adorable artwork!

Mitch’s birthday present is awesome, so sweet, especially with Remy and the expression on his little face. And as bright dot-dasher said, the colouring is great, really neat. Nice work, red!

Auughh, I feel like such an idiot for not replying to you guys sooner!!

TSS: Thank you!

Hannahmation: Yes, I’m pretty sure she did!! Thank you!

Violet Parr: I think she did LOVE it!!! I had a design for Renata drawn out for two years now, but only recently have I been working to perfect it. I think I’m happy with the end result!! I’m glad she looks enough like Alfredo for it to be believable. Thank you!!

BDD: I think I’ve pretty much decided on that color scheme for her: bright red hair and a teal-colored hoodie… which is the color of my own favorite Aeropostale hoodie!! Mitch was very happy when she got the picture, and thank you so much for the wonderful comments!!

lizardgirl: It’s the first time I’ve drawn Remy in a while, and I had to zoom in reallllly close to get him to look right, since I drew it all in the computer. Thanks so much… I’m glad you like the coloring too!!

You guys always make me feel so special with your comments… seriously… I don’t deserve it all. And I hope that Mitch had a wonderful birthday as well!!!

I like your interpretation of Renata, considering we never really see her (she’s got the whole after-life thing cover though! ). I think Mitch will love it!

i luv the baby Brandon McCrea!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

ffdude1906: Thanks! I don’t see very many drawings of her, and usually they don’t depict a sweet, timid young woman; which is more what I imagine Renata to be (hey, I mean we all wonder where Alfredo gets his own nervousness!!). I’m glad this interpretation looks good - I’m so comfortable drawing it now that it’s not gonna change anytime soon, haha.

123EVE123: Aww, thank you! He was a lot of fun to draw like that… especially his fat rolls. Kinda inspired by me and my own siblings when we were babies… you wouldn’t guess it now, but we were fat babies!! 8D

So I finally have an update!! Yes - a fan art update!! I haven’t been drawing like, ANY Pixar fan art recently, and that’s mostly because I used to do it so often that my OCs (original characters) became neglected. So the other night after watching Ratatouille for the first time in months, I was inspired to draw this:

Some baby Alfredo sketches (full view, please!)

I’ve wanted to draw that kid as a newborn for the longest time, and I think I finally nailed it. I’ll be doing this montage thing of him through the years (e.g.: newborn, 2 yrs, 1st grade, 7th grade, high school, present… you get the deal) and put them all together. This is kinda like, part one of however many to come. I’ll put up the finished thing when it’s done.

Enjoy! If you’re a Deviant on dA please comment and/or fave… although several of you have already done so… and I thank you for that!!!

Saw those, great job! I’m not very good at drawing freehand yet, I need to look at what I’m drawing for it to come out well, hopefully I’ll be able to get my butt in gear and actually work on some stuff. I’m so lazy, UGH!

That is so cute!! (Sorry, I’m trying to come up with a different word besides “cute” here…) Neat work on the soft shading! It looks like it could’ve been him when he was little!

ffdude1906: Aww, why thanks! I know I’ve already said something similar on dA, but I wanted to say it again. And I know the feeling of having to get motivated to finish artwork. There are still several projects that I started months ago that have not been finished yet!!

BDD: Thank you! Resemblance in my characters is one of my fortes, I guess. Even several years ago when I would draw Alfredo and Renata, I would always try and make sure that they looked alike. It’s taken me a while to build up that practice, but I think it really pays off. I’m glad you like the shading… I haven’t shaded in forever!

Before I go, here’s two more that I added to the “aging montage” - enjoy, and full-view because the image is kinda small.

Wow! I love it! I really, really do! Nicely done little_chef!

Aww, why thank you, wannabechef91!! I really appreciate it, and I’m glad you like them. I should be finishing up the last two here very soon, then it needs to be colored in and all merged together. I think once it’s finished, it’s gonna look awesome.

Amazing update; neat progress!
I love how it looks so far. Very well drawn at each stage. There’s something really nice about Alfredo at grade 7. It’s like just looking at these different parts, you can recognize that he has this shy, quiet, but kind quality steadily kept as he’s growing up. Keep it up! You’ve done an excellent job!

AWW, those are so adorable. Very well done with the age progression. It looks really hard and you nailed it!

I’m sure it’s gonna look great. Can’t wait to see it.

I really like your Alfredo sketches, little chef! The age progression is handled quite nicely! It must have been a challenge, but you did a great job! My favorite is Alfredo in Grade 7.

Thanks all for the wonderful comments!! It really does make me feel special to know that people like looking at my artwork. I just have one more drawing of Alfredo to do to finish the montage, so I’ll post that up as soon as it’s finished.

For now, enjoy a little drawing I did of his son, Nolan playing on his daddy’s MacBook Pro… :stuck_out_tongue: (This is the first time I’ve done a drawing entirely in the computer using Photoshop CS3!! I’m so happy with the way it turned out!!)

little chef

Whut. No comments? You guys are mean. :frowning:

Haha, jk, jk… This is a picture I did a while back for mo as a birthday present, and only recently finished it in Photoshop. I wanted to wait until I got it so I could do some sick effects with the text and such.

Take a look: mo’s birthday present

BTW, that is my handwriting. I was able to manipulate it in PS to make it look like an embossed font.

Enjoy! And happy VERY belated birthday to one of my bestest friends on PP, mo!!!

little chef

Wow! Great art little_chef! I’m sure that mo will appreciate it!
