evolution (according to my Bio class) made people out of apes, not completely the same concept, but it could happen… i guess…
and why would manufacturing mean making cars out of other cars? they can make their own plastic and metal right? i always thought they would bury their dead…
i still think they could have the stork idea for babies, but like in Partly Cloudy where the clouds make the babies and then little planes bring them to their parents
and i don’ think they have “manufacturers” because in Cars, Mack says “Thank the Manufacturer!! you’re alive!!” (when they find McQueen in RS) the way some people would have said “Thank God!” so im thinking the Manufacturer is like god…

This is something that was always in the back of my mind and I thought of Manufacturer as God in that sense too. This is random but it just came in my mind. If you’ve ever seen Star Wars, C-3PO (the gold robot) always says, “Thank the Maker!!!” while Anakin is his one and only maker. shrug Ignore if not relevant. :laughing: I fully support the birth theory and that the Manufacturer is God; I’m just saying.

assuming the Cars-world history is similar to ours, maybe thats what their Civil war was for, the forklifts were the slaves since they could do more than regular cars (as far as we have seen). Now i want to get an old picture of an Old south plantation and draw it in the Cars universe… that also makes me wonder what kind of crops they grow, they don’t need Cotton as much as we do (no clothes) but in Cars it shows crops growing when Mack is driving McQueen across the country, and it looks like Wheat.

I think dinosaurs were just…dinosaurs. Like in our history. :laughing:

During the Life Is A Highway montage, did anyone else notice the birds sitting on the telephone wire that chirp? It goes by really fast but you can get a glimpse and hear them. Well, not only is that an easter egg to For the Birds but I guess it shows that not all animals are “automobile-like” because they look just like normal birds. o_0

Ahh, it is. But then in Cars 2, birds are depicted as small, old style propeller planes! Gasp! Did Pixar contradict themselves there? o_0 :laughing:

Well, as that’s a reference, it can’t be taken too seriously. It’s like seeing the Pizza Planet Truck in Brave.

On the other hand, this universe has no official rules. Some birds can be planes and others can be organic, so we don’t know.

well, he’s hanging on with his axle (is that spelled right?) and those have to be strong not only because they hold the car up, but because tow trucks use only one to support cars (like pulling McQueen back up out of the Cacti in Cars)

does anyone else notice the similarities between that scene and the scene in Toy Story where Buzz and Woody are “Falling with Style” to Andy’s van? there best friends, one can “fly” (yes, one can really fly, one can’t), the other can’t, but is (as far as the audience is concerned) the main character, theres rockets in both, and rocket- propelled cars (RC, you could say, was rocket propelled for a while)
