The Cars Theorization Thread

Not all cultures have to put on something when they marry.

Probably Cars don’t either.

That’s what I’d think too^^.
you know since [i:2i8s50aj]The Voice[/i:2i8s50aj] started airing again. [/size:2i8s50aj][/quote:2i8s50aj]

[i:2i8s50aj]The Voice[/i:2i8s50aj]!!! <3
Question: I’m sure someone has asked this question previously, but where on earth do cars put engagement items? Like when they get married? :-\ [/size:2i8s50aj][/quote:2i8s50aj]

You know, I have no idea. I don’t know about marriage ones per say but apparently, they do have ‘rings’.

[spoiler:2i8s50aj][img:2i8s50aj]http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa10/CaribbeanCrazyGal/Cars-6573.jpg[/img:2i8s50aj][/spoiler:2i8s50aj]

^^^ It says "fine rings" by the door of what I’m assuming is a jewelry store. What those ‘rings’ would be beats me. o_0

That is an interesting point^^.

I guess they would go on the tyre or wheel

Shellow: Maroon 5 is awesome! <3

I’ve always thought that they get hubcaps, but perhaps they only wear them for a short time and then just keep them elsewhere. Or they just have nothing like suggested.

Hubcaps, or I saw in a story something about a license plate? :-\ [/size:h5p6142l]

Flo and Ramone don’t have anything special, and we know they’re married.

 True. I’m going to go with they have nothing to visually represent marriage

Same here^^.

True; from what we can see.

I’m going to stick with that they do have some sort of representation, even if we don’t know what it is.

 Maybe we just can’t see it from the movie prospective

That’s just going to go in my “TO ASK JOHN LASSETER” file. :sunglasses: It’s getting quite large.

8D Same here!

Alright, next question! Water- do they need it? We see they have water on their planet but from no scene is it actually shown that they need water to survive like humans do. And if they don’t need water, then is there anything they truly need to survive? I mean, they have gas and fuel, but do they actually require that to run? We discussed them being “biological machines” or something of that nature, so what do you think?

They may need water, as real cars do.

They show in the first film that McQueen can’t drive around without fuel, so the canon takes care of that question.

They might need a little water, but I always assumed that fuel/gas to them was like water for us.

Ahh, this is true! Real cars need water so most likely they do also. I don’t think they need fuel to “survive”, just to run. I mean, Lightning didn’t die when he ran out of gas. But we know that they drink different drinks like we do and eat food like we do and because of them being “biological machines”, I’d say they’re similar to us in that aspect of survival.

Do they drink gas?

In cars 2 when Mater ate too much ‘pistachio ice cream’ he put his tongue in the waterfall to cool down his mouth, but i’m not sure if he actually drank it.

Yeah, those ideas make perfect sense.

I didn’t really notice but I thought so.

If anyone recalls, in Cars 2 they spoke of how Axlerod ran out of fuel when he was expeditioning around the world. He survived, because obviously the whole natural gas thing was a charade. Or did he actually even travel around the world? :unamused: Now I’ve confused myself 8D
