I actually like this show better than Family Guy for some reason (keep in mind I despise Family Guy). But everyone seems to hate it.
Maybe that’s because The Cleveland Show doesn’t have any cutaway gags, which is a reason why some people hate Family Guy. Honestly though, I’ve just never tried to give this show a chance. Just decided not to bother since so many people dislike it.
Geoff: You make a lot of sense! That’s one thing that bothers me most about Family guy, that and it’s overrated. I like both American Dad and Cleveland show better.
I adore Family Guy, but you have to admit it is not the show it used to be 
But American Dad, on the other hand, just seems to be getting better and better! The Cleveland Show is pretty bad, in my opinion - it just isn’t funny however hard it tries! 
I completely agree. Family Guy can still be good, but they seem to be focusing on shock value and overused gags nowadays. I think it was best for the first 5 seasons. American Dad on the other hand, I find to be a much funnier show.

I don’t really love either show, but I found myself very steamed and offended during Family Guy on certain episodes. So I prefer American Dad, just because if that show is so hurtful, it’s episodes I didn’t see.
People will probably give me odd looks when I tell them I’ve only seen Family Guy in bits and pieces, and haven’t seen ANY of the other two shows.
Pretty good comedy show. Although i don’t love it as much as i love Family Guy. But i always go to watch it’s episodes, when i listen about it’s any new episode updates. It’s pretty funny series in my opinion.
One thing I will say about American Dad is at least its different from Family Guy. Cleveland show seems to have taken the same premise and characters from Family Guy and slightly altered them and put them in a different location. You’ve got the son, the teenage daughter, the snarky baby, the animal friend that can talk and acts like people, and so on…
Exactly, that’s one reason I like American Dad!
Yeah. All it seems like is that they took the main characters from Family Guy and made them black, not meaning to be racist or anything, just saying. American Dad may still be based around a family, but it’s actually a very different show in terms of humor. However, some people assume it’s just like Family Guy because of the same people involved, when in reality they probably haven’t seen it.
