Did anyone watch this? Or even hear of it for that matter?
It’s a Family Guy spinoff, and instead of following the Griffins, it follows Cleveland.
Well here’s the premier episode for those that want to watch. It’s basically the same as Family Guy.
Yeah, I watched the premier. To tell you the truth, it was funny, but not as good as Family Guy, in my opinion. The Family Guy after the Cleveland show on Fox was hilarious though!
Seth should just stick with Family guy. End it when its time so it doesn’t start to suck (Like the Simpsons) The Simpsons are starting to borrow from Family guy now.

Family Guy’s been going downhill ever since it came back from cancellation, do we really need an extension of it? And a horribly unoriginal spinoff at that.
After the 3rd or 4th season it started to get a bit weak, ill give you that.
This will be cancelled by next season im sure, but it wasnt nearly as bad as i had expected.
If its on late at night (on Adult Swim) Then why should people cry about the shows content? As rude as it is, it shouldn’t be on a prime time slot
Don’t get me started on “The Simpsons”, that show should have been canceled years ago, before the movie even came out.
Except it was picked up for another season before it even aired.

Family Guy is my most favourite show ever.
Cleveland Show was bad. Very bad. Aren’t spin-offs supposed to be different than the actual show it came from? I guess Seth just thought “Who cares about that, let’s make a second Family Guy!”
I was against the Cleveland Show from the beginning because I didnt think he could carry his own show, nor did I want him leaving FG. I watched the pilot and the second eppy. Its okay. Not great. I’m willing to give it a chance though. There are of course, striking similarities to Fam Guy, but I’ll see how I feel about it after a few more eppys. The general consensus from what I’ve read seems to be that almost no one likes it. But, here’s the kicker, Fox ordered a second season for it before the show even premiered! I saw about the last ten minutes of the premiere, and it wouldn’t be quite fair to fully judge it because of that, but…eh. Just made me think American Dad. Funny at times, but otherwise a bit bland.
All in opinion, of course.
The Cleveland Show is a good show, nothing special. Famliy Guy is still hilarious and can go on for a very long time.
I personally think Family Guy should end, This season has been slightly better but its still nothing compared to the early seasons.
The cleveland show seems ok but nothing has made me laugh much, the bear is kind of funny i guess.
I just don’t think anything compares to American Dad, I can watch all seasons of that over and over without getting bored. Although i hope it doesn’t do a Family Guy and go downhill after season 4
Edit: Just remembered American Dad is already on season 5 haha
St_ Jons are you kidding me? American Dad is decent at best and Famliy Guy never went downhill. You definitley haven’t watch Season 7 or 8 because they are great.
Well I have watched seaason 7 and 8 and I stand by my oppinion. American Dad is so much better then family guy. It doesn’t have any annoying cut aways from the story, and whilst they were funny for a few seasons in family guy it is now rare for them to make me laugh.
I must admit the recent episode where quagmire lists everything he hates about Brian was funny, and all the jokes to do with Meg are great but it certainly isnt to the standard it was around series 3.
American Dad on the other hand is still constantly funny and rarely has a dull episode. Thats my thoughts anyway
I stopped watching the Cleveland Show actually after seeing the first episode, I guess because it didnt grab my interest enough for me to want to keep watching it. I agree, that Family Guy isnt what it used to be, but I like it better than American Dad. I just dont think it’s all that funny. Granted, I do like the alien, and the fish, and it’s neat when Patrick Stewart is in it, but I only watch it if I have absolutely nothing else to do.
I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to share my thoughts…
As much as I like Family Guy and American Dad, I’m not even going to bother with The Cleveland Show. Lots of people hate it and think it should be cancelled. I did watch some of the pilot episode, but it bored me to say the least.
One thing that really annoys me though is how they cancelled King of the Hill to make room for it. I was never a fan of King of the Hill, but that show ran for over 10 seasons and Fox just cancelled it as if it was nothing. They haven’t even released a Season box set for years now. Way to spit in it’s fanbase. I guess Family Guy and American Dad is just not enough, because I seriously cannot understand why Seth Macfarlane needed a third show. As if Family Guy going downhill was bad enough. I still enjoy it, but it’s not as funny as it used to be. American Dad however, is a show I like way more. It’s humor is more intelligent.
I admit, I enjoy to watch this every now and then. It’s not fantastic or groundbreaking or anything. But it can be entertaining.
